I got a number out of him this morning so I was happy, unfortunately I was at work all day so I don't know if he's been high all day. His appetite is back, and I hate to say this but I think the Pepcid worked out for him, I just hate giving him drugs with crappy inactive ingredients. Is the normal dose like a 1/4 of a table of Pepcid AC every other day? That's what I read online, as as we all know ONLINE NEVER LIES!

Anways, calling vet tomorrow to set up an appointment so I can find out what's hurting him. I wish I could just take out his pancreas and give him a new one!

Good luck with the vet - hope you can get in soon,and that they can help him. I hear too - people swear by it - that pepcid does help.

What are you giving the Pepsid for? I've given 1/4 tab (.25mg) twice a day and then tapered it back to once a day. If you have a question about Pepsid use, there are very knowledgeable people on Health.

Pepcid AC was recommended by some people here to combat his tummy aches.... the other day he had diarrhea and threw up.
