Good morning, LL. Our thoughts and prayers of strength go to Boris and Fiona, Tableau, Willow, Rocket, and any others who need them today as well as their beans, our friends.
confused_cat confused_cat She ignored you, Ann, and did exactly what Tess did yesterday. We changed Gracie's feeding schedule to PS, +2, +3, +4 although the only time she comes down so fast now is the bounce breaking cycles. We started feed her carbs when she started coming down fast yesterday but it didn't slow her. We stayed with the 8% as that usually works and we didn't want to overcarb her and get an ugly bounce. Normally, I'd shoot through the bounce and that helps to keep these numbers down but.....at PMPS, I didn't know if she was starting a bounce or just her lev end-of-cycle rise. She is doing fine, today, though. There is huge wind and lots blowing around outside so she and Tobey came in from the catio.
We are hanging on. All I really want to do is cry. Our little Teddi has left such an enormous hole here. Her quiet little, tiny (5.5 lb) self had such an amazing presence. She always went to bed with me and we shared play time with my bookmark and then big scritches and purrs until I turned out the light. She was always curled up next to me, or very frequently, on top of me in the morning....her sweet little face pressed against mine to see if I was awake. Always such a little purrbox no matter what. So mornings and evenings...bad for me. We see her everywhere...all her fav spots; we look for her, we remember her med times only to realize we don't have to do it. She was the one kitty who was always with us every evening....curled up happily on her bed in the den taking a bath. I have an appt with the animal communicator tonight....I hope it will help give me some peace and solace.
