Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos
I know, I know. It's way too late to be posting a condo. I'm doing it anyway. I know there are some people here that might like an update, and I don't know when I'll be able to post tomorrow, so, the Late Condo Queen rides again!
Cinco continues to stay safe and kind of boring. His lowest numbers come at UCD, measured on their Alpha Trak. They take it right before they knock him out. Makes me wonder how low he goes before that.
Minka didn't want to eat this morning. I didn't have time to give her squids or anything. I put a jar of baby food in front of her, and she started licking it. When I got home, she was in the same place, and there was only a little bit of baby food left in the jar. She ate about 3/4 of her dinner.
Sasha's appy was good this morning, too.
Harvey is still subdued, but he's eating well. I just have a bad feeling about him.
I took Sasha to see the dentist at UCD this afternoon. Dr. Riggswas very nice. She was totally smitten with Sasha the moment she picked her up and Sasha gave her a hug! She said she couldn't believe she got the best patient of the day! The student working with her, Lisa, is from Belgium and is just here for four weeks because they don't teach much about dentistry in her country. Dr. Riggs did an exam and looked in Sasha's mouth. She found a second mass, further back than the first. She is very concerned about them - fears it is squamous cell sarcoma.
That would not be good. She went over everything with me. They had an ultrasound scheduled for this afternoon to look at her abdomen and see if there was anything there to explain her extra water consumption and peeing. They did a blood panel to check her kidney values and other things that were a little off a month ago. The student called me a couple hours later and said that her kidney values were unchanged and her white cells were still way high. They can't figure out why. The u/s showed some abnormalities in the bile ducts, but they looked old and the doctors weren't concerned. Everything else looked okay. So tomorrow they are going to take xrays of her mouth and do a CT scan of her head, clean her teeth and get a sample, removing as much as possible, of the masses. Then I wait for the biopsy results.

She can hopefully come home tomorrow night. I would appreciate any vines and prayers you have to spare.
Just to add to the insane day I had yesterday, last night my keyboard flaked out on me - my last posts were in gibberish. DH gave me one to get me through until we can get to Fry's and buy a new one. I don't like this one at all, but it does work.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Marilyn & Polly, Deborah & Shasta, Carla & her civvie Baby, Wendy & civvie Theo, and Marje & Gracie.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and DH, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM, and Elise's DM.
