Hello everyone!!

Yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=126157

Wow, Billie!! I guess we're done with 1.5u for now! She did eat a mix of rabbit and buffalo this morning which was probably around 4%, so I can't chalk this up to the 0.1% rabbit. Her coughing is still tons better. She coughed maybe 3 times overnight, but they were either individual coughs or just a few coughs in a row - no scary fits! So, I'm thinking that maybe the inflammation is getting better, so she doesn't need as much juice.

Usually, when she has a crazy drop like that, she is up eating and often drinking water. This time, she just napped through it  After I got her up for the test, she went right for the food like "oh yeah I just realized I am really super hungry right now" but I'm glad I know that I can't count on her to eat, because I used to think that I could. I should have tested right at +3, but I didn't expect this since her +2 was so reasonable (for her). Lesson learned.

Since she's in her food allergy trial and can't have her usual go-to ice cream, she just got some bacon and maple syrup along with more LC. I have no idea what the right amount of maple syrup is, and I may have gone overboard, but I guess I'll find out soon.

I hope everyone is having a nice day! Sending lots of vines to all the cats and beans in need.

ETA: Bacon and maple syrup success. +4 56.

Go Billie!

I made Angie some gravy with lamb and flour for hc emergencies. Maple syrup is a good idea. In Australia we call pancakes with bacon and maple syrup Canadian pancakes. Is that true, Wendy? I've never been game enough to try the combination.

I'm glad her cough is getting better. Are her hives improving too?

Thank you all very much!! Yes, Billie had some tricks up her sleeve today! I decided not to shoot through the bounce, thinking the depot can stand to drain a bit if she went from 150 to 40 in less than 2 hours  Also, this isn't a terrible bounce considering the drop and the 40.

Grace, gravy with flour is a great idea. I have been making pork broth to add to Billie's food when she needs bribery, and I could totally make some gravy out of that. The maple syrup on bacon worked well and she devoured it, but I had no idea if I was giving way too much or not enough. Billie kept saying it wasn't enough  I guess it will be a trial and error thing. Canadian pancakes sound delicious... :-D

Billie's cough is still tons better!!!! I heard her cough maybe once or twice today, but they were just single coughs! I am really happy and scared to get too excited about it...but I'm feeling so relieved. The hives on her tail feel about the same, but she's leaving them alone for the most part so they're not getting torn to bits like the ones on her neck did.

I hope everyone is having a nice night! Billie is sleeping in her bookshelf, and Brooklyn is sprawled out on the coffee table.

We do have pancakes with maple syrup. Sometimes with blueberries in them - yummy! My DB does them with chocolate chips. I've seen back bacon sometimes referred to as Canadian bacon. It may or may not be served beside pancakes. Now I'm hungry. Donaleen/Ozy was the one who I first saw do maple syrup and bacon.
