Glad to see he's doing well! Sorry about the bounce though... he'll get sorted out- it's nice when they're all cuddly!

That's how I understood it anyways, but it could have been that he was just hungry and asking for food. :lol:

SS has been updated. We are going down again FYI. The vet called early this morning and wanted to keep him on the 2U. He was getting R in his iv up until 1 pm yesterday, so she thinks that may have been what happened with the evening numbers once the Lantus kicked in. We are sliding down again today, so hopefully he will put the brakes on and just surf for awhile now.
 
Wow, that is all over the board. A high of 415 and a low of 43 yesterday and so far today a high of 401 and now down to 96 and dropping.
I wish I had some input for ya Melissa, but i have no idea how to handle that!

All i can offer is some moral support and maybe a chuckle. :-D
 
Such good news! Tarragon sounds like he's back to himself and that puts a smile on my face :-D :-D

Way to clear that bounce in a hurry T!
 
Hi Melissa: I'm so happy our boy is doing well today and coming down off that bounce so quickly. Also very glad to hear he is eating well and lovey dovey!!! Gosh we were all so worried about him...I can only imagine how you and DH and DS were!!

Hope you all have a great day and it's not too hot....and Tarragon let's you get some pool time!!
 
Oh wow, you did have a long night, Melissa. I hope you can catch a nap today. Tarragon, hold on now and do some nice surfing. Tarragon's one amazing kitty after all he's been thru this week. Enjoy your weekend. It's real pleasant weather here today.
 
It is very colorful huh? :lol: He was just at 92 at +8 so it looks like he may be done dropping hopefully. Karo spikes him, which I gave him at 42. I wasn't surprised by the 400s plus I just gave him 1U last night because I was scared. He'll even out. I'm just glad it's a 3 day weekend!
 
Sleep??? What is that? :lol: I couldn't sleep when he was gone because I was worried and now haven't had a chance to sleep since he's been home. DH really needs to learn to test. However, he knows I am a control freak and wouldn't let him do it anyway. Tarragon is having NO problems sleeping. DH gave him a nice chin and belly shave today because he was so matted. T is btb again for about the 3rd time today.

Brent - I just saw your wakey wakey post and I have to say you are entirely too cheerful at 8 am. Your cortisol must have kicked in! :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
Glad Tarragon is doing so well. His numbers make sense based on all that you have shared. Hopefully he will even out and not keep surprising you. Enjoy having your boy home.

Morgaine thinks he is very cute but a little young for her. Still, she likes those handsome Maine Coon boys. :smile:
 
Nice to see Tarragon coming down from that icky 400.....his ss looks like a rainbow threw up...didn't someone say that? Glad he is sleeping well. :mrgreen:
 
Thanks guys! Ya the whole "rainbow threw up" was Tarragon's ss a couple of months ago. :lol: Some things never change! I am starting him back on his Flovent tonight. The vet wanted things to calm back down a little before we added that back in the mix.

I'm so happy to see that T is home and doing well. Hopefully his numbers will level off quickly, once all the dust settles. I think we're ALL breathing a collective sigh of relief!!!
