Hello everyone. Feeling better than the day before. It's something cold-like, stuffy, headache, dizzy
but I have to work today so we'll just be done with the cold. :lol:
can't take herbal things , Jane, I have severe allergies and I am allergic to every weed out there.
and grass and a lot of trees.
My ear nose throat dr says we should "summer" in Hawaii. Westerly winds would come off the ocean
and I wouldn't be getting every allergen between the west coast to us.
I asked for a prescription for that so insurance could cover it. :lol: Yeah right, we can afford that!
Now my husband is thinking about what he could do for employment there now or maybe when we retire but
I don't want to live with volcano's on an island. nailbite_smile
It's hard enough when our forests are catching on fire each year. We need the logging /managed
forest back. Then you wouldn't see fire after fire on the news each summer. All of it is too overgrown.
When we were on fire in 2000, there were 1000 trees /acre and the ideal forest has 100 trees /acre.

I think Shadow and I are back to where we should be after losing ground with the syringe switch.
The old syringes we had were 1.46 units for 1 unit in a terrumo. That's how inaccurate the monojects
are.
We will be double checking syringes now with calipers to see that they are consistent.

Hi Rhiannon, Nice AMPS for Shadow, glad she is back on track and ready to surf with us again! Glad you are feeling better today, bleah for allergies. Hawaii gets vog so that may be no better for you. I get most relief when we are at sea, unfortunately cant afford that as a full time lifestyle. Have a great day!

Nice start for Shadow this morning. Hope you keep feeling better. I hear you on the allergies. I have that too - trees, grass, mold. I have been able to take some supplements though and it does help me. I stay away from anything directly made from a weed though. Maybe if you did some research you could find something that would be able to help you.

This year we are experiencing a particularly bad allergy season so I can relate to what you're going through. I hope relief is somewhere in your near future:)

One thing I might suggest on your SS is to put the caliper measurement in the remarks and not the units column. If someone doesn't read today's condo, they won't know what "1 or 2mm" means. I'd just have the units in the unit column.

I'm SOS orry you've been feeling poorly and you've been so great about visiting our condo and being supportive. It means a lot and especially since you've been sick, too.

Rhiannon, sorry you've been sick and hope soon you'll be feeling better. What a nice cycle today for Shadow. That is amazing the differences with the syringes. Thanks for all your support with Maggie. Hope you can get some rest tonight.

Sorry you're battling cold/allergies. I feel your pain! Yesterday, I was recovering from going outside Friday while Doug was cutting the grass, only to be overwhelmed by the colognes at church and now worse today. Honestly, people who don't have to deal with it can't realize what they're doing when they BATHE in cologne! Jessica and I both have asthma and allergies, but she's on better meds than I am. I LOVE candles, but can't even burn them, anymore. :sad: My doctor suggested Arizona...I just can't imagine moving way across the country! :o

Shadow is looking GREAT, but if you truly don't want Shadow to get a reduction, you can always try feeding higher carbs to keep him from going too low.

I hope you get some respiratory relief SOON!!!

New Mexico and Arizona are pretty much the same terrain.
I'm severely allergic and I live in the high desert. So i guess I'd have to live in the Sahara.....

But I don't like sand........ :lol:

Hawaii does have sand but one of the islands has mountains. He says.
My husband liked having both, thinks we'd have a house near the mountain part ( Isn't that the volcano part?? nailbite_smile @-) )
He's a mountain biker. And very gung ho.
( If he goes flying off a cliff, we are very well insured. @-) )
We live at 7500 ft above sea level.

I doubt we could afford it and I don't like the idea of being on an island.
My doctor was just being funny, he knows we can't afford a "summer home".
We 're doing good to have the one we've got. Los Alamos prices are like California and Boulder, CO.

The doctor and I were talking about the nasty winds and all the pollen they bring across each state so he was suggesting I go get where
the winds travel across water. Hawaii, West coast ?...
But I'm really not the beach type. It's nice to visit but I always want to get away from the sand.


How is it that Shadow is such a surfer? She just surfs wherever she goes.
I just always have to remind myself that she could change it on me anytime.
I think that's why I don't sleep deeply.
If i were to get in the bed instead of the couch, I might not wake up to give her food in the night.
The couch just isn't as comfortable as the bed. Even though I really hate our bed ( tempurpedic ) I do sleep harder in it than on the couch.
