Good Morning, Everyone,

Getting a late start this morning. Too much to do today! After his magnificent day yesterday, Rusty started today with a bit of a bounce. We'll see how he does over the course of the day. I nicked a capillary this morning while giving him his shot, but hopefully did no harm. He had a good night and this morning all is proceeding normally. After a nice little schmooze he is chillaxin' on the couch. I took Edward to his yoga class and have been busy with paperwork, etc. etc.

Happy OTJ to Jupiter and Jamie and wishing them good luck at their vet appointment. Sending healing vines to all kitties and beans who can use some.

I hope the LagoonMeister is just taking a well deserved break and will be right back on duty later. Don't work to hard, you need some chillaxin' too! ;-)

Hi again,
Rusty had a "rest" day today, but managed one dip in the lagoon. My old Relion Micro meter is getting cranky about turning on. It will only turn on if a strip is in it. I changed the battery, but that didn't help. (I'd been using it for 3 years.) So at PMPS I replaced it with it's "twin", the Arkray Glucocard 1 Mini (which had been my back-up meter). Then I tested with both meters and got 141 on the Arkray and 142 on the Relion. So now the Relion will be the back up. (But I also have a Relion Confirm and its "twin", the Arkray Glucocard 1, so maybe I'll use one of those for the back-up.)

Today turned out to be a day of running around and doing odds and ends, making appointments, etc. I missed the board. But I did get a much needed haircut, and got some shopping done for our trip to Camp Stu on Thursday (we're pit-crewing the 90 mile Canoe Classic Race again, beginning on Friday, and will be at camp for a few days).

Off to visit condos. Hope all is well in LL,

Not a bad day for Rusty. Now back to business big guy. Sounds like you got a lot done. That is always a good feeling. Have a great night Ella!
 
HI Ella - I am sorry I missed all her today. The day seems to have gotten away from me today. :roll: It seems to have been a great day for checks: blues and greens. Mannie would be do proud. The BMG would be rockin' the house tonight.

I hope your day has been a good one. It is exciting t think a week/few days of camp Stu is coming. YAY! And that race! It always sounds like such fun, work, but fun! :cool:
