ugh - nasty stinkus pinkus this morning, a 357. :roll: Part of me is not too surprised, considering the carb content of what I fed yesterday, to keep him safe while I was gone, and then with the 54 last night, which, I have come to believe was a bad test strip... so - 357. bummer, but I hope he will be back on track by cycle's end. slow and steady drop Mannie - back to the blues maybe by day's end, OK? cat_pet_icon

Mannie has been a very busy kitty - my son was by last night which of course meant that Mannie had to be all over him: very alert, cuddly, purring, affectionate. Mannie was Matt's cat - he has not forgotten. It was nice to see those two buddies back at it again. This morning has been a continuation of last night - so many purrs and head rubs. He was my get it together supervisor this morning - guess I passed: he gave me the once over, rubbed my leg, and then left for interior perimeter patrol. Breffis #1, and #2 consumed, napping now in progress. Awesome start for today, despite the 357.

sounds like that pink amps isn't bothering Mannie one bit. Nice to hear how happy he is.

Hey Mannie, how come our beans don't like us coming up here? This floor sure gathers a lotof friends in the morning. Oh well, let's do them a favor and go down to another floor, but slowly enough to make them happy.

and here we go, in normal Mannie fashion -- down to 155, and out came the MC. Fed a 10%FF. (right you are Ella!) I have an errand, but will check him again when I get back - @ +5.

155 @ +4, fed a tsp 10% FF MC. as usual, a too fast of a descend. It is so Mannie.... :roll:

Mannie - listen to Ann, slow her down OK? I think he is listening with one ear... we've slowed, a little. 126 @ +5.5. It will be interesting to see what he does with the rest of the cycle. Blue surf? onto the green? or back up? and the winner is ---- i dunno, but blue surf would be nice, greens for this evening.

Blackie passed Mannie on his way to the pink floor as Mannie was going down to blue. That's a nice slow drop for Mannie today - I'm hoping you won't see any more pink for a while. Nice report on Mannie today, too. Your story about your son and Mannie was very sweet.

And thx Ele - they were truly best buds - ate together, slept together, played together. I'm sure Mannie misses him and all the table scraps he used to give that boy.... ohmygod_smile :lol: :lol:

Hi Michelle! Great WCR for Mannie today, and how sweet that he got a visit from your son. :-D I imagine Buzz and Mannie are hanging together with all the others at the beach. Buzz has her green surfboard and she's ready to show those boys what's up. :lol:

Hi Kristen - Hi Sarah! Thx - Mannie says all the kitties are having a grand time at the beach. The grills area grillin', boards are surfing, kitties just hanging out. I have received another text from Mannie: "don't wait up" :shock: Mannie - the party animal! :roll:

well now - we have a 87 at PMPS. YAY! and back to the greens... however... I have a dinner to attend tonight. so.... I fed 10% FF at pmps :shock: I should be able to get a +1 and a +2, and depending on what they are, Mannie may receive the mother-load of yummy mini meals vs good ole wellness chicken. :lol: I expect to be back by +5, so we should be OK. After all this time it still makes me a little nervous to shoot a green. silly me!

so - does qualify as a slidage? or what was that word.... ???? :lol: :lol:

Hi Barb - as much as I hated to do it... he got 10%. He was thrilled. :cool: normally I would have waited until the +1 came around, but dang kitty - I gotta leave.... :lol: :lol: and he is such a diver with low numbers at pmps. :shock:

I wonder though if I overdid the carbs - with the 10% - a 134 at +1. well I will get a +2, then leave what I need to leave out, and hope things will be fine. Right Mannie? fine, OK big guy? nailbite_smile of course they will mama bean....

Nice slidage even with the added carbs. What would he have done without them? :shock:

hey Ann - YEA! - that's it!! and so agreed on the added carbs - Mannie would have been green, very green without them, and omg - what would I have come home too... :shock:

thanks Barb - been an interesting day. Thank goodness that he responds well to food manipulation.... :-D
