What great cycles yesterday for Mannie: back to back low blues at PS, greens at nadir. :-D :cool: :mrgreen: Paws crossed that this continues. We have mid to high blues this morning, not bad at all... good for me too. Now I can go this morning, and not worry about him too much. You've done well Mannie! Looking good, and thanks for my permission slip, so that I can take off for a bit this morning. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

The bean overslept this morning... :shock: :shock: again.... :o :o Once again the kitty choir, well head singer BJ, made sure I got up, eventually. :? :-D 30 minute late! :roll: :roll: The other two were waiting patiently at the top of the stairs, with that "where have you been?" look. sleeping guys... sorry! We had a great test feed and shoot. Mannie purred and purred and purred. How could I not dally a little and give head rubs, pets and a few chin scritches. :cool: The other two however were having none of that singing once again. "Remember us?" was the gut wrenching cry... poor babies thought they were starving. Breffis was consumed with gusto by all, except for BJ who is struggling with her new kidney friendly fuds. She kept trying to raid Elsa's bowl. You could see the thought: "but mommmmmmmmmmmmm..... here's is better than mine". It probably was. :lol: :lol: Poor BJ - don't worry little one, we will find something that you like... Mannie loved his - he always does, maintained his clean plate club status, and went off to nap. and.... and..... and..... used the auto feeder for mini meal #1!!! I think the earth just stopped spinning... :lol: :lol:

Have a great day everyone. I'm off to run one lat test on Mannie before I head on out. Enjoy your day today.

KITTIES!!!! Off to Attie's - for a big big party! We gots fishing, and squirrel hunting and grillin' and all kinds of fun stuff to do. I gots the bus all ready to go. See you soon!! ~~ Mannie

Sounds like a fun morning in your household. Poor BJ didn't get the food she likes, but you're sure to find one. Mannie ate from his automat!! Yea!!

Hi Michelle, a lovely day yesterday and surfing blues today isn't bad - Mannie is joining Maggie's surf club, although she shows a green once in a while to throw me off! So BJ doesn't care for her kidney friendly diet; neither does Maggie! I think Mannie wants you to go on that hike today with those nice, friendly blues. Have fun and can't wait to see more pics of your travels.

Ok the campfire is started and the early cats are head back with the fishes. We gots them crayfishes with dill on the boil, and we're cracken them freshwater muscles....Gracie is servin' up the drinks...now all we need is some singing ....~~Attie

Thanks guys for the visit while the bean took some time to go and play all by myself. :cool: I went on a river hike, up to a couple of falls by the Taylor River. It was one of those days when all I wanted was a trail that went on for as long as I could hike, nice and even, with some cool things on the way. This one was perfect, logged 13 miles before I had to come home, saw a couple of falls, found several creeks to wade though. SWEET! some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow. :-D

Hi Ella - Crazy morning! I hate it when I oversleep - it wasn't by much, but it just throws things out of whack, on off kilter... And no - BJ does not like her new food :-x (her smilie selection) . One is OK, the other (Science Diet K-D) she will not eat. So - looks like I have some food research to do, see what I can find that is kidney friendly. There has to be better foods out there... And YAY - he did eat from his feeder!! Now if he would just do it all the time.... :roll: :roll: -- and thx - hike was good, long, which is what I was after today... good stuff!

Hi Sherry - Thx - I love what he is turning out. To come home today to a 106 - very happy! And thx - hike was fun - just kept on hiking until I ran out of time... awesome!

Hi Sharon - oh yes, mornings here can be quite the adventure... these kitties are quite the crew... all so different that it makes for interesting encounters. Thx too - hoping for greens tonight.. though he may have gone there while I was gone... I have a feeling. :-D

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - thanks - yesterday was such a nice day for Mannie. He does seem to like to hang out in the blues. he is very honored that Maggie will let him be part of her blue surf club. -- and yep, BJ does not like the kidney fuds... the royal canin was accepted more that the other one... oh well, we will try some of the others and see what she will eat. -- yep, permission slip granted - there was a time I would not go unless I had yellows. it is nice know to know that he is good on the blues, and I can be gone, and not worry. what a relief! Photos should be ready tomorrow... hope so!

Hi Ella - It was fun - the creeks were fun! Mannie is long gone too, no doubt trying to find his way to Ohio. And you are right! Time to relax for us beans. Condos to visit, emails to answer... veggin' to do after that. :-D

Hi Marje - it is nice, isn't it... what great stuff. Yeah - sure am liking this... so consistent. so unlike the kitty I knew over a year ago. YAY!!! --- and :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: on the possibility of me napping and missing their dinner. :shock: :o :o that night have been the end of me. nahhh.... they know what side of the bread their butter is on. They just make sure I can find the bread and the butter. :razz: and yes, hike was good - just a chance to get out and walk/hike, no awesome vistas today, just a nice river, a few falls, lots of miles... perfect for today. __ I can see the truck pack full! Gracie at the wheel, Tobey working the peddles. :shock: :lol: :cool: :cool:
