I skinnied up tonight's dose based on her history...
I had an odd theory this afternoon. Jetta's on Budesonide, 1 ml per day. She gets it in the evening, between 530 and 7. Any chance that could be having an effect on her low nighttime numbers? Wondering if I shouldn't start moving it back by an hour a day to give it in the mid afternoon?

You can try moving the med. However, budesonide is a steroid and if it were to be effecting Jetta's numbers, it would raise them. Steroids may increase BG levels in some cats.

it might be worth a try to move the budesonide around and see if it affects her numbers. However, lots of cats tend to have lower cycles at night than during the day, so it might have nothing to do with the medication. Lucy was like that for most of her time on insulin - low at night, bouncing during the day.

Awww Jaclyn.....but if they had lower numbers in the day, that means we could SLEEP at night!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
When you mentioned the other day that she had IBD, I was going to mention budesonide but never like to bring up the subject of steroids for FDs.
