Little impromptu photo shoot of our civvie baby Jasper :p He is almost 2 yrs old and his man mane is coming in nicely. He's pretty proud of it, I think :cool:

Focus on the action of the insulin... the action over approximately 6 cycles. I like to think of it as "waves" of action (visualize waves in the ocean).

Generally speaking, this is what happens over a series of 6 cycles in the beginning:
  1. going down low/lower than before
  2. going up
  3. high, but can bobble up and down some
  4. again high, but can bobble up and down some
  5. coming down or a flat high
  6. coming down, often, but not always dropping into the next preshot number

Eventually kitties get over their bounces faster and the above steps are compressed, but the general idea is the same. I found that understanding where Neko was in that action could give me peace of mind to get out if I wanted to. Enjoy the hike!
 
A lovely short hike in the trails behind our house!

Cosmo seems to be working his juice well today :p I hope he isn't dropping too fast today... Seems controlled.
 
+6 173 :eek: slowwww down Cosmo...

He ate about 1/2 of his half and half kibble about 30 mins ago. About 1/8 cup.
 
It's been a while since he has taken the super slide :eek:

I'm doing good, Cosmo is doing good :) He is in safe number territory, at least for now.

I hope you managed to slow the drop. It'd be great if he could spend more time at this dose and get more comfy in these safe numbers.

I hope so... I was going to grab a +8 in about 15 mins. Cosmo is blissfully unaware and not searching for food.
