Yesterday's condo

Good morning Lantus Land!!

China's picky palate from yesterday seems to be all fixed today (so far anyway). She ate almost 1/2 can of Natural Choice which is much more "normal" for her...I don't know why the trip into the 200's this morning, except maybe because when she DID finally eat last night, she ate an entire can of food in about 6 hours. To keep track of what she's eating and being pretty sure she's not getting more from the other cat's food dishes, I give her "big" meals after shot and she generally goes to "bathe"...and then snooze. She gets mini meals in between PS's but usually only a teaspoon or 2...last night at +6 she just kept looking for more and ended up eating the entire can between the 2 feedings.

Maybe she wasn't feeling good yesterday and was just "off her feed"...and when she felt better, she made up for lost time?

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend, and now it's "back to work!"

Hi Chris-I'm so happy China is eating for u again. I can so relate to the stress of a non-eating diabetic cat! I finally found a food Bob likes and has eaten for several weeks- wellness turkey. Woo hoo! But if I take away his dry, he may change hiss s on that. I think he just likes having both!!

Thanks for the visit Dara....I know you and Bob have had a really hard time of it...and I'm thrilled to hear he's considering the fact that maybe...just maybe..momma isn't trying to poison him with wet food :lol: :lol:

Hopefully he'll be like some of the other hard core kitty crack addicts and soon will find his "inner carnivore"...and do the 12 step program to keep him off the dry
