Hi Everyone,

Rusty had a good day of sunshine and good appetite and good breathing. I know this because we didn't go on the paddle (BUMMER)! We both had an awful night--the worst cold symptoms resurfaced--and felt like "Hell warmed over" (as my mother used to say) this morning. So we opted out of the paddle, slept for most of the morning, and felt a lot better after lunch. So since our canoes were already on the car, we decided to do a short paddle on a local lake. I think that if today's group paddle had been closer to home we would have gone, but it was 2 hours away, so would have involved 4 hours of driving. We had a nice, gentle paddle. The day was beautiful. We're glad we went out. We hope we don't pay for it later!

Sorry to be so late tonight, but will try to visit a few condos.

Hope all is ok in LL,

Ella & Rusty

I'm glad to see Rusty got to splash around in the lagoon this morning. He's looking great. Sorry you missed the big paddle but probably just as well. Exhaustion can make those cold symptoms even worse. :YMHUG: Vines coming your way. Neko is rallying the KTSS troops again for a late night visit.

That's a gorgeous looking cycle for Rusty! And even better hear he is breathing easy! However, I am so sorry to hear you had a bad night and missed your paddling event. ( My grandmother used to say, death warmed over, but the idea is the same. ) You sound like my DH, such an athlete and always ready to participate in the sporting event even if it means hopping out of his deathbed ;-) Hope you have a restful evening - sending tons of healing and feel better vines to you!
