Wednesday was odd with the high numbers Rex gave me.

But today!! 155 What's going on!?

I'm home today so I'll text Rex again after btb.

hmmm, glad you are home today so you can grab a test in 3 hours. Did you retest the 155?

I hope it's just a fluke and you see green next test. How is Rex feeling? Is he off in any way?

I did and got 163! I decided to stop there.

I retested just now and got 67. He's not acting off, but Precious is sick.

Yesterday, I fed them after work. Precious went upstairs to sleep in my room as usual. He comes back down a little bit before the night meal every night. Last night, I went to feed the cats and Precious stayed on the couch so I brought him to the kitchen. He sniffed and went back to the couch. I had a bad feeling so I checked the cat bed upstairs and he had vomited and it smelled like poop, but it wasn't. This morning, he was ready to eat, but when I put down his dish, he didn't want it (raw). Rex was done with his dish so I took that one and put some wet food in there and Precious was happy with it. Is it just association of vomiting with the raw food?

I thought of another thing. Every time Rex was slightly high after he went OTJ, I always found vomit. Maybe his blood sugar goes up when he knows or thinks a cat is sick? Sympathetic? Lol

Precious was happy with it. Is it just association of vomiting with the raw food?

Oh so sorry that Precious is sick. It could very well be the association of what he threw up. Maybe baby food for a day or so would be a good choice as it's pure. Hope he feels better.......

And glad that Rex is just messing with you! Did you stop giving him a +9 meal during the PM? Wondering if that has anything to do with these higher AM numbers? Not sure, just a thought.

Thank you. I'll give Precious wet food for the other 2 meals and try raw again tomorrow.

Rex has never gotten a +9 snack. There's no way I could force myself to get up at 3 am to feed him, only to get up at 5:15 am to get ready for work. My bedroom is next to the bathroom so I do everything upstairs first before going downstairs to feed the cats.

We will just have to wait and see what Rex gives me tomorrow morning.
