Hi Alexa, Glad Reuben is feeling good and free feeding is working out for you :-D . Hope he clears his bounce soon and eases back down for you, ideally without too much low green drama! Have a great evening.

Re: 9/29 Reuben PMPS 455

thanks for the nice comments and the hilarious viral temper tantrum

just trying to ignore the bounce. we feel pretty awful. reuben feels rotten and pees everywhere when this happens. and i have a massive headache. good times.

Re: 9/29 Reuben PMPS 455

love the hugs deborah, thank you!!!

omigosh, so i just realized that i accidentally shot an hour early. as a result of resetting the digital clock incorrectly after a power outage this afternoon. ohmygod_smile

does anyone have advice about how to handle this? at these high numbers it is certainly not the issue it would be if they were not. but nonetheless, this is a change in dose... an accidental 'shooting through the bounce' in a delayed sort of way as it were... ?

i`m just not very good at the whole 'bounce' thing... ohmygod_smile

Re: 9/29 Reuben PMPS 455

Alexa,
You and Reuben should be just fine with the inadvertent early shot, but like Rhiannon said, keep an eye on him. Get a +2 at least so you can have an early idea of how the night might go?

Here's another good "tantrum" icon for ya!

Carl

+2.25/384

yeah, he`s still barely reacting...

thank you rhiannon and carl

and that tantrum icon is making me laugh out loud

it`s just hard to keep believing that we still have a chance at recovery each time we go through this phase after a dosecrease... nailbite_smile

Do you mean remission when you say recovery?

I think there are examples of folks who've done this for a couple of years who suddenly make it to remission.
Lots of factors involved but the best part is that cats can get there, some take longer.
Poor doggies with diabetes can't get remission.
