Morning LL...I dont like Moonie's being so close to the renal threshold--I would like to see better amps & pmps for her--
I gave her a drop more so we'll see what happens--Almost at full 0.75!
Moonie jumped into bed with me today, like she knew I was upset--She ate at exactly 1hr.15min after her shot!--Does she wear a watch?
All P's in place,they are having their am nap...

I am trying hard to deal with Stu's passing, my heart is so broken for Ella & Edward--Been here a long time, & have seen many dear cats go GA.
It always hurts, especially when we are close to them. Pat said it best--Hold your Babies Closer today! I am.

It's just not fair that they have to leave us so soon....I know that I will never, ever have enough time with them...

ahem - hey Moonie - whaz up with this yeller numbah. I leave for a little while and come back to see this. Especially on such a sad day in LL as this. You better get your butt back down into some blues at the very least. Don't make me go get Max and have him give you a stern lecture.

I too have given extra kisses and hugs this morning. Mannie has spent extra time with me too - he knows how sad I am - he keeps checking on me. what a good boy -

Both our furbabies are up this morning, maybe sensing our distress or missing their friend. The whole board is subdued. Come on guys, celebrate Stu's life by getting some better numbers. He'd be proud of you.
 
Moonie has decided to come down to blue-- hope she comes down next day or so.

Spoke to Ella(Linda) who Thanks everyone for their rememberances of Stu & the kind words-Which she cannot read yet--But I told her how we are all shaken By Stu's sudden passing...She & Edward are OK..We shared some tears, and she said she will try to read the posts in a day or two...They are very lovely people & will find their way back from this blow. How lucky we all were to have Stu & his family decorate our lives--
They will return to upstate Tuesday & will spread Stu's ashes in their garden that he loved--Will update when possible.

it truly says something beautiful about stu that we are all feeling it...and it's a guarantee that this isnt a case of "seeing our own future", but speaks to how well-loved ella, edward and stu are...
 
Roni...thanks for letting us know you spoke to Ella and Edward. My heart aches for their pain....as many/most of us, we know what it's like and I've always felt there's really not much comfort at this point but she just needs to know we all care so much.

Question for you: what do you mean by "close to the renal threshold"....sounds like something I need to know. If you could, would you mind pls posting on my condo so I am sure to see your response?

Yes, Roni, thank you so much for the update on Ella and Edward. I'm glad you were able to tell them how hard this news has hit the entire board.

Funny how when you want to nudge Moonie's numbers down, you add a drop. When I want to nudge Jazzy's numbers down, I have to add a whole unit. ECID for sure.

I'm glad the Stu family is hanging in there. Such a shock.
 
I hope Moonie comes down soon. Glad you got to talk to Ella/Linda - it's so comforting to know that somebody cares when you hurt.

Moonie isnt coming down, so I guess I need to got to a whole 0.75U--or more?
I keep adding drops, but she is still up there--I will be gone all weekend all day each day, so I dont really wnat to do a dose crease w/out being here to monitor-
2 big shows this weekend.

I just cannot get over this Stu;s passing right now, watching my kitties every move, feeling so sad--I Miss Stu & Ella so much already...Hope tomorrow will be better.
These are my first cats, you see, and I love them beyond reason...I have had many droolers, but cats, they are different, especially Moonie-Our bond is so strong, hard to describe..Yet I know they are older, worry more now than I did, savor every moment, stay home more.

I did a class tonite, dont know how they liked it so much, my heart wasnt in it--
Read a bit in Community, couldnt go too far--Will try again tomorrow-

My insulin vial bubbled after I stuck syringe in????? What is that all about?
Just received my lantus pens from Canada-Good thing as maybe it's not good, but how can that be, it's fresh!
