Morning everyone! Molly was fine with getting her ears poked but I went through my last few test strips because she kept shaking the blood droplet off her ear. Will be getting more test strips around +5. Fed LC wet food with her AM shot. Feeling a little defeated this morning :'(

Her mood and appetite are fantastic, will watch for signs of Hypo and react accordingly if I notice any lethargy, wobbliness, etc. Hopefully the +5 test will be attainable.

You are doing great! FD can be very challenging initially and sleep deprivation doesn't help! :bighug:
If you can transfer the blood drop onto your nail, that buys you some time to touch the strip to the blood and you don't have to struggle to get her to stay put.

She's really quite new to feline diabetes. It'll take a while for her body to get used to those nicer numbers. Hence the bounce. The good news, she will get over it.:bighug:

I tried to have at least two backup unopened containers of test strips, just in case.
