Yesterday morning's cycle went into the lime, and we propped up last night's cycle or I believe LTwould have gone there again. I realize we are not to do reductions quickly and the 1 drop we tried 36 hours ago showed he stayed in the blue. However, I can't continue to stay up late into the night. I'm just not one who can sleep in between late night BG checks. So DH and I are lowering him back to 1 drop and will stay there a bit to see what LT will do. I've put my patience pants on, knowing that if comes back to an increase, so be it.

Prayers for those and their families who are in need.

All bets are off. DH left a bowl of kibble on the woodstove, waiting for the next outdoor kitty to appear. Of course, LT, the kibble king found it and got a few bites before he was busted. Why does this always happen on a dosecrease day:banghead::arghh::confused:?
He might be okay, the depot might carry him and who knows...maybe the extra carbs will help him slow down some. No worries!

Beautiful photos! You live in a gorgeous area! And I understand completely about needing your rest...been there done that. I'm suffering today because of our late night - I do not do well getting up in the middle of the night either...I'm not sure I know of anyone who does, do you?

I think someone once commented on this forum that we're all the most sleep deprived group of people .... I think we could definitely take the trophy!

Have a great day Suzanne!

Good luck with the new dose, once the kibble is gone. On the up side, maybe that means a good sleep tonight.

Love the photos. Getting into the beautiful outdoors is my way of de stressing too.

Suzanne , I'm also not a person who can nap between shots ....I sleep like in a coma and hear nothing . Only time that was different is when our kids were little .

PMPS of 334 - still got 1 drop; will have to tighten the cinch on the patience pants after LT's a.m. kibble thievery. It didn't seem like he got much. Two steps forward and one step back. How can he ever get to OTJ if his BG can still go so high?

K I B B L E is evil stuff. I remember a kitty on an OTJ trial who had to take a car ride, he hated car rides. Got to reds. Green the next morning. Curious to see what LT does overnight. Sleep well.

I'm so sorry ,Suzanne :bighug: Elmo is running HI since afternoon after a morning of wonderful numbers. The good news is you and I get to get good sleep tonight :bighug::bighug::bighug: And tomorrow is another day . ❤️
