Yesterday's Condo

Poor Gizmo. He looked so forlorn. The kitties had their first two installments of breakfast and Gizmo had walked away from his bowl. Gabby doesn't understand the concept of grazing. If there's a bowl and there's food in it, according to her, it's meant to be eaten -- and she's glad to oblige. I came back into the kitchen and Gizmo was hunting for crumbs.

Gabby has claimed the new box as her own. Other than crumb hunting, Gizmo has been leaping over cubes and racing around in kitten-like fashion. Watching him exhausts both me and Gabby. All P's are in place which is a good thing since my favorite cat sitter has returned to Chicago in time for my spending the weekend teaching at a workshop in Wisconsin. I'll try to check in but I'll be gone until around PMPS on Sunday.

Happy Caturday, Sienne

Have a good time in Wisconsin - I hope it's a lovely weekend for you. Vines to your favourite cat-sitter, too! Will s/he be posting tomorrow Gabby-Condo?

Hugs

She doesn't post. There's no point. Gabby quite literally allows no one except me to test. This cat sitter's a keeper because she climbed up to the top of a closet to feed and shoot Gabby the first time I used her. (She was quite pregnant at the time and was perched on the top of a trash can because she couldn't find my step ladder.) Gabby barely tolerates her giving a shot. It begs the obvious that Gabby is a tortie diva.

Wow - she IS a keeper! Mine will shoot but not test, and we need the testing. Maybe if we get a little more mellow we can use a sitter, but not for the time being.

Gabby and food - yup, food must be eaten or it will somehow disappear to it must be addressed immediately!

Have a good weekend, Sienne.
Gabby and Gizmo: behave!

Thanks, Sienne, for visiting Stu's remembrance condo. I know that he and George have become good friends at the Bridge. They'll be partying tonight, celebrating the full Harvest Moon.

This was last month's full moon, over the Hout Bay valley.

Have a great weekend, Sienne! Be careful traveling. You know how crazy everyone gets during the full moon!

I'm glad you're decreasing for the trip. Gabby looks like she may go low. Your sitter sounds great. I wish I had one I could trust here. How did you find her? I haven't looked for one since I moved here. I would ask the vet's techs but if they weren't interested, I don't know what I'd do. I would never leave her with a stranger.

Hope you have a great trip Sienne:) Sounds like you have an excellent caregiver to tend to the crew while you're gone:)

Have a wonderful trip!!! Gabby, you behave and keep giving the sitter those pretty numbers (even though she doesn't test you)! Good night!
