Yesterday's condo

Well, Ebby must have heard us talking about using R, because yesterday she cleared a bounce in one cycle, and this morning....just a little bounce. Probably too soon to tell if this is a result of the higher carb food or not. My DH and I have 2 weeks off work....and since we can't go anywhere, we're working on fixing up our old house and I'll be around for plenty of ear pokes.

Good luck on all the ear poking! ;-) Hope it will give you some good data:) Have a great evening!

Great start tonight for Ebby! Maybe she's getting used to lower numbers?

Fascinating discussion on R in your previous condo. It's something I've though about for Neko, but she's currently clearing most of her bounces in less than a cycle. I probably should have done it ages ago.

Good luck with the house reno. There's always something to do. We've did a week and a half road trip with Neko last summer. Turned out she's a better traveler than we thought and there are a lot of pet friendly hotels with fridges for insulin.

Hi Rachel, Thanks for the visit! I'm sure Ebby will enjoy having us around, not so sure about the ear pokes though.

Hi Wendy, Yes, I couldn't believe the 91 pmps. Makes me worried that I missed a low, but hopefully it was just a downward slant today and that was her low point. :o I hope so. Yes, the R discussion was very helpful...but now Ebby is clearing these last two bounces so quick, so maybe Ebby has a different plan. I might have to talk to you more about your road trip with kitty. We usually do a road trip this time of year, but I just can't leave Ebby. I've wondered how that would work taking her with us, but just don't want to stress her out. Sounds like it worked for you guys though!

Easy does it tonight Ebby.  Time for a little surfing.

Lisa (Leo) put together a document on traveling with diabetic kitties, based on a condo discussion from many members. There are links in that thread to a couple of documents on travel. Some people have gone on shorter day trips first, just to find out how their kitty handled travel. Neko used to make a lot of noise just going to the vet, but after the long trip she's much more comfortable in a car now.
