Zener had a great day yesterday, even if he gave us a little thrill at the end of his AM cycle! :shock:
Looks like this morning, he may be having a bit of a bounce, he can be such a bouncy boy. flip_cat We are having some success in mixing the low and medium carb foods, so paws crossed we are able to continue and gradually get him completely on lower carbs!

We have a busy day today and the nice lady with the loud machine (vaccuum) is coming to clean. So, the kitties will spend a big chunk of mid day and early afternoon under the beds. Hope everyone has a good day and especially sending our best thoughts to Marje, Mike and the fur babies and to all of our furry friends and beans who are not doing well today.

Lovely cycles yesterday and he didn't come up too high last night!!! Glad to see him back down in blue already today! YAY ZENER!!

Hi Anne, I hope soon Zener will get used to the lc fuds. It takes time for them. I still struggle with Maggie. I hope Zener and Anya have come out from under the bed to inspect the clean house. Hope your day went well.

Zener and Tillie are very pleased with their clean house, despite the trauma of the vacuum. And it was a double whammy day - vacuum and UPS dropping off a package. We've never sorted out why they do not like the UPS truck or whoever is the delivery person. As soon as the truck stops in front of the house, they both growl and slink off under the beds. We try to intercept and run out to the driver before he gets near the front door, but it doesn't always work!

@Devon - it is an ongoing dance to get the big guy on LCs. He was a lifelong kibble eater so we try to look at the positives - at least he is completely on wet food now! :-D

@Marje - thank you for stopping by to encourage us when you must be so very sad. Zener is trying to follow in the paddy paw prints of his role model Gracie! He is spending more time in blues and yellow since we fattened up to 1.0u and we are delighted to see him in better colors for healing! :-D

@Ann - we know what you mean about a constant struggle! @-) We still hold our breath for a few minutes when we put the food bowl in front of him because sometimes he eats like a lumberjack and other times he looks at us like we are trying to poison him! We got the idea for mixing the MC with LC from you months ago!

Well, Zener is having a not so bad cycle with even a taste of blue. We still think it is probably a bounce but it does seem his bounces aren't as big or as long lasting as in the beginning. We hope... :roll:

Zener lets clear this bounce for your Bean and so sorry you had a scary day with the vacuum thats one thing I go out of my way to make sure my kittens that leave here are used to and not scared of I have this long drawn out process that starts at 8 weeks to slowly get them used to it and by the time they leave at 4 months I rarely have a kitten scared of it although I do have adults here 2 of my older sr citizens that just hate it and why IDK I must not have got them used to it way bk in the day... :lol: And one of my abys when we lived in the city used to growl at who ever knocked on the door we live so far out now she no longer does it funny how yours hate the UPS man

How are you at getting them to ride in a car to the vet? ;-)

@Melissa - it sure isn't bad for a bounce of Zener proportions, so we are hoping his liver is learning something at LTS! :lol:

He was acting interested in eating something at +3, but there is a new box in the house! Liz ordered a new office chair and just finished cutting some doorways into the box it came in. Far more interesting then wet food! :lol:
