Good morning lovely beans and sweet kitties!!
The left eye cat (haha) surgery went very well. I experienced a little miracle when I peeked out of the eye cup this morning. I could SEE! Then I went to have the cup formally taken off, and the doctor was very impressed. Already 20/25 vision (was 20/200) in the left eye and no pain or redness at all. I don't even need my glasses to see, even though my right eye is still 20/200. I'll schedule that surgery next week for mid to late October. Whew . . . it was worth all the prep work, and I thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers

I was a half hour late with Tina's shot this morning, unfortunately. Those people at the eye clinic are quite slow, but very thorough.

I just discovered the most amazing thing!! White!!! The eye that hasn't been fixed sees a dirty yellow screen. I am so amazed.

I know my hubby got a cataract removed years back and he was amazed how colorful everything was. He did have to wear sunglasses when outside as the bright was very intense to the point of being painful. Technology has probably improved since then. I'm sure you will marvel at how vibrant everything is. Its amazing what can be done now.

I know my hubby got a cataract removed years back and he was amazed how colorful everything was. He did have to wear sunglasses when outside as the bright was very intense to the point of being painful. Technology has probably improved since then. I'm sure you will marvel at how vibrant everything is. Its amazing what can be done now.

I keep finding new colors!! Lavender that I thought was grey on the Lantus pens - the rubber inside, where you insert the syringe. You are exactly right; I am still marvelling!! I thought the calendar on my wall was cream colored, and its bright white. So fun!
I stayed indoors all day. Too bright outside. Even with double sunglasses and a hat!
