9/28 Sparky AMBG 137 Day 14

Well I don't like the high number especially on Day 14. He did bring down his number last night. I cannot get another test today because of work. I hope we can celebrate today. Ugh! Could it be the Friskies? I am giving him special diet turkey and giblets and beef and liver. I have to buy some more of the BG beef. That has especially low carbs. I believe he is really carb sensitive since coming back from the falls.

Otherwise he is eating well and is being really sweet this morning.

Sharon, I hope we can celebrate today because we need a good celebration! Funny that you mentioned the Special Diet Turkey. I gave Simon the same thing all day yesterday and his bg was higher last night and this morning. He had been surfing some nice greens and now he is back in the blues. I was feeding him FF chicken for 1 1/2 weeks straight and he finally got sick of it. So the minute I change him to the SD Turkey, he is higher. Try feeding him something else today and tomorrow and see what happens.

Hi Sharon, I hope we can celebrate, too. Anything with turkey in it causes a spike in Maggie's bg, especially the FF turkey & giblets. Maggie is super carb sensitive, too, and she's a returning from the Falls kitty. Sparky has done so well all other days.
