Yesterday's condo

WCR: Sullen and annoyed at me it seems. She was in her cube and when I tried to lift her out, she moved with her front paws into the next cube! She was all balled up when I tested her and she went back into the cube w/o eating. I went back with the insulin 15 minutes later shot her and then she ate. She thinks that if she is not around, I will maybe forget the routine. Poor little girl. So, she has 1P today so far. Peeing. I know she is fine it's just that she is so annoyed that I am fussing over her once again. Her C & S came back clean as I said yesterday. That is good news. We are beginning the Panacur today for both of them.

poor Raja trying to disappear into her cube but still being found. Raja this is all for your own good so don't feel so bad.

Hey Raja - nice numbers this morning for you. Good job. Mannie sends greetings and hopes you are OK. It's OK that your bean fusses over you - don't be annoyed, OK? :-D

Poor Raja sounds like she wants no part of being tested anymore pouting in her cube :lol: happy to hear the C&S came back neg for her

I know Raja is not like this shot stuff, but you are getting some wonderful numbers on a very low dose. I'm hoping that she'll be off the juice soon. Hear me, Raja?

She tolerated the 3 tests the first day. She was shocked with the fist insulin shot. Now she is beyond annoyed at me with the ear pricks. In her own little way, she is demonstrating how much she abhors this whole routine. I have to give the the Panacur soon. That is not going to be fun. On the other hand, the first time s always the easiest with Raja. Pet Sitter is coming in an hour. I am totally miserable on many fronts.

So sorry Pat. I'm sure it's no fun to subject her to all of this when she's so unhappy about it. Hopefully she'll get over it soon!

I cannot tell her that her brother was 2 points lower than she was tonight...and don't any of you tell her either! SHHhhhh. Okay? :lol: She got her first Panacur dose this afternoon. As I figured, she was surprised and it was easy. She is probably planing tomorrow's evading tactics as I type this.
What a character! She ate her dinner and then saw me with the syringe. She ran under the coffee table and as I went around, she ran the other way. Down the hallway she went! Funny little gray ball of fur on her little legs, doing the fast trot in an effort to get away from the foolish woman! The foolish woman was running right behind her, laughing the whole time at how funny she is. Right into the closet and into the box!! Gotcha!!!
She did surprise me at how nice she was to the new pet Sitter. She actually allowed her to pet her....so happy to see that!
2 more days and the Panacur will be done with. Poor Raja. She is just so annoyed at this new "old" routine.
 
Hey Pat...does she have giardia? Is that why the Panacur? We had to give it to our kitten and it was just little granules in his food; it never
slowed him down...but then, he's an eating machine. Good numbers for Raja!
 
Marjorie....her eosinophil numbers were elevated so I am doing this in case she has parasites. Just for 3 days for the 2 of them....they both had Cestex yesterday in case there were tapeworms. They also got Advantage ...in case they are exposed to fleas(although I do not see any trace of them at all) The Eosonophils can point to allergies as well....mysterious...but I am trying to eliminate all the things that I can....
 
Too funny Raja hiding in the cubes. I had originally put Muffin's cube in the testing room (aka Muffin's room now) but she would go in it at testing times, too, so I had to move it to another room. Nice numbers for her today.
 
Verry Nice Numbers Raja--Pat I never used to let Moonie see the syringe, as she would Run like the Wind when she saw that!!! And I would cry! and she wouldnt come out for hours sometimes, and I would be frustrated & cry :lol: :lol: :lol: Then I totally stopped letting her see it, and shot her with her back 1/2 way turned, and that has worked for us even today! She is so close to green!!
