Yesterday, Neko was plotting with Jersey so I wouldn't get much sleep before my race today. I countered with HC. :lol:

Kitties were ever happy to have the yet earlier again TFS this morning. Gonna be a devil of a time working it back to normal time. I may just chicken out and do it all at once tomorrow morning because I'll be out of the house rowing until normal TFS time. Nothing like avoiding the kitties when they think it's meal time. :lol: Neko is looking lovely in green today - I do hope she's just been happily surfing these flat numbers while I was gone. The solarium is very warm - she was in the kitchen cooling off when I got back.
OT: Regatta day today. The start was delayed over an hour due to fog in the cove. It looked OK just as we about to launch, then a fog bank settled in. Today's race was 5.3 km, but out of the cove across the inlet, around an island and back again. For a long time we couldn't even see 500m out. The race finally got going and we got done in time before we had to leave the park. We had a large number of boats this year which was good to see. I always love the sound of a crewed eight whishing through the water.
DH and I did OK. Some fool kayaker launched off the beach and into our path just as we were starting and kept on turning into us instead of away. Some people are so clueless. :roll: Fortunately it didn't affect us too much. Our race was otherwise OK, although bumpy due to boat wakes. DH and I are still talking to each other. :lol:
