Yesterday was..... ARRGGHHHHH day in MannieLand. :shock: Also known as "The escalator went up" day.... He did manage to bring things down a it, but wow upon wows. It has been a while since we have seen "that Color" and I hope it is forever before we see it again. :roll: :roll: As I said last night: SO DISHEARTENING! I have said to so many others over the past several years to many beans in this position: it's only one number in a sea of thousands... it will come down, he will be blue and green again. :-D :-D :cool: I will try an forget about the AM cycle yesterday - we start anew today, right Mannie? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon And back to the blues, OK?

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Mannie and DGS: best buds. However...Mannie is finding it easy to deal with THE VOICE, aka THE CHASER, aka Nicholas... he just hides in his hidey hole. It is interesting how they can be so gentle and affectionate with each other: pets, nanner sharing, cuddles, and 10 minutes later they are chasing each other down the hall, with DBG hollering, moving at warp speed, and Mannie looking for the nearest "you can't get me here" place. :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: I will be so glad then DGS gets over this phase. :lol: :lol: OOOOOOO! We had another whack-a-thon over dinner bowls again - wow, two in one week! Elsa once again made the mistake of venturing near Mannie's fuds bowl. He was not amused... whack whack whack. :-D :lol: :lol: :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club , AND the auto feeder was ignored by all... what else is new there: not much!.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am on DGS duty today, my last day this week - I will try and get to condos once DGS has gone home for the day. Today we will be at the pool, and then not too sure where. Someplace with water....duh! I will miss you guys, ad your furkids! Be good kitties! think blue, think green!

And completely OT: Here are some photos from my and DGS's adventure yesterday: the skykomish river - FUN TIMES! DGS and I had a great day on the river. It was just the best! The air was a bit hazy from all the wildfire over the pass, but still gorgeous. We ate lunch at rivers edge, watch birds fly overhead. Nicholas threw so many rocks, and sticks and leaves. There were piles of fallen leaves on the bridge over the river so he spent a long time just throwing them over the edge, watching them fall. Somehow he found that funny and would laugh and laugh. Morning Michelle and many thanks on the ~O) ~O) ! Hey Mannie, what's going on up there, huh, time to climb on down. Looking nice at the +2 for him, Michelle! So funny with DGS and the chase! Mannie sure gets his exercise. So nice to hear the whack-a-thon is back on full speed ahead. Wow, beautiful pics of your river adventure yesterday and a really cute one of DGS! Have a wonder adventure today and thanks on the links, too.

Mannie, we have a planning pardy, how fun and a Full Moon coming up. Yay on Rusty's porch, too! Maybe that explains the kitties' wonky numbers, nothing like a Full Moon to mess with the Beans' heads. See ya at my curb, Mags

and WOOT!!! We are Blue! Looking for that green lagoon from the shores of the blue grotto. Word has it that the Blue Mannie Group was heard performing LIVE on the porches of Rusty's residence in up-state NY. Well done guys!


Nicholas and I had a great day - swimming was so fun, as it always is. The fish continues to be the fish. :-D We went to Redmond park on the Sammamish River after that, to look for Ducks and just hang out on the River. They have a section that allows for river access, a step tiered thing.He knows it, made a bee line for it (duh!). What was so exceptional as that when he reached the steps, the salmon were flying out of the water - 10 feet in front of him. He was so excited. Jumping up and down excited. These fish were huge - 1.5 to 2 feet. it was just the best thing. I tried to get video, but jumping fish don't perform on cue. haha. I would like to think he will remember this, know he won't. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Melissa - oh yes on yesterday. what an ugly day. :shock: :lol: He has recovered nicely today - a 122 even for pmps. What difference a day makes. :-D and a BIG YES on Mannie being happy when DGS gets through this phase. The poor boy doesn't like it at all. :lol: :roll:

Hi Ann - And that it what I told him - time to climb down, and..... he did! Yep on the chase. Mannie had had enough about 8:30 this AM, just before we headed to the pool and retreated tot he basement! :lol: :lol: Back to his comfort zone. :? :? Me too on the whack-a-thon. it was fun to watch. Looks like Mannie had a beautiful day while you were gone. After all, what goes up does come down again. Did you get any rain today? We got a bit of a drizzle and I got that look from Neko when she wanted to go out in the wet. It's stopped again here now. Really cool that Nicholas got to see the leaping salmon. That is always so exciting to watch.

Hey Blue Mannie! Lookin' good, man!

I thought the Full Harvest Moon was on Sunday, but who cares when it is as long as we can party. Sure we can have the party in my barn; I was thinkin' maybe Camp Stu would be a good venue, but we can save that for Halloween and the pre-halloween full moon. Thanks for coming over today to plan for the party. See ya tomorrow. I'll tell the deer family that the kitties are partying tomorrow night! Tess will be happy to see them all again. There are three fawns this year.

Sounds like you and Nicholas had a great adventure today. Poor Mannie now has to practice his escape skills! Oh well, this phase won't last forever!
Yes, I am rethinking Rusty's fuds, but am not giving up on Wellness. Tonight I gave him half Wellness Chicken and half BG Turkey. He ate the chicken and left the turkey for later!!

Have a beautiful Autumn weekend Michelle! It must be breatetaking in the hill. We city people spend thousands every year on vacation to places where they have beautiful Spring flower blossom or Autumn scenery. :lol:

Hi Wendy - That eh id - I was so pleased to come home to lower blue than when we left - so so nice to see. on the rain - just a few sprinkles this morning - about 7AM, after that a few clouds, by noon it was sunny. Turned out to actually be a nice day. :shock: :-D I can so see Neko's look - i get that from Mannie too - like hoe dare I make it all wet out there. :lol: :lol: I thought so too on the leaping salmon - he was just so excited.
