Good Sunday Morning, Lantus Land Neighbors!

We're wishing everyone a restful, healing day with lot of hugs and skritches.

Yesterday's Mousie Condo

Today's News:

AMPS: 234
+3: 186
+4: 175
+6: 218

PMPS: 235

In the end, the mouse that Clare ate yesterday morning before AMPS didn't cause her any digestive issues and DH had a pretty quiet day while I was gone. In fact, the mouse was just what Clare needed (along with all the friendly encouragement from visitors to our condo :-D thank you!) to clear her bounce.

So we had an active night last night, with Clare earning a reduction to 0.5-u. We decided to shave the dose rather than go down by 0.25, "Plan B" Julie calls it. We also learned a lot about letting the cycle happen naturally until her BG went under 50, instead of trying to manage her on the way down. We fed her 2 tsp of HC when she went to 46 to get her up to over 50, then just LC from then on. It seemed to work very well for her!

We're looking forward to a peaceful day but with FD, EDID! Low yellow PSs could go either way. Later: High blues at +3 - could also go either way. What a gorgeous fall day - we're ready for anything!

Have a great day, Neighbors!

Thanks, Carla!

Hoping you and Furball have a great day together.

Amending this: I hope you and Furball and ALL the crew have a great day together! I just read Furball's Profile, which was really helpful and well organized. I can see why you're good in the office!

Don't you think Furball and Clare look quite a bit alike, except that Furball's hair is longer? They're about the same age, too; although Clare came to us about 11 years ago, and at the time the vet estimated she was about 1 year old.

I like your method of leaving the MC food out at night for Furball. We tend to free-feed the girls (we have two) at the beginning of the cycle and then pick up the bowls and feed small snacks to them when they seem hungry. Clare's still below her ideal weight so we want to feed her when we can; and now Coral's getting a bit thick-waisted so we have to watch her. It's more tricky with more than one, I agree. But they do light up our lives! ;-)

Warm wishes,

Georgette and Clare

Nice slide for Clare today. I, too, can't even begin to figure out what Miss Polly will do. Steady yellows. Usually means just more steady yellows! Or not.

Hope you enjoy this Sunday. I sure do miss Wisconsin in the fall. Usually make a trip back in the October. Not this year, though.

Hi Marilyn,

Shall I send you some pictures? It's an even more beautiful than usual fall here this year. I forget where you said that you come from in Wisconsin?

Clare has been pretty flat today and that doesn't give me any clue as to what the PM cycle will be like. It could be the beginning of a long, drawn-out bounce; or it could be a transition between two active cycles; or ....?

I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Thanks for your visit,

Georgette and Clare
