Lately Lando is kind of unpredictable. I couldn't tell if he's been bouncing or not, so I have adjusted his feeding times back to where he's getting his extra snack again and doing his snacks earlier in the cycle to try to slow the drop down. I was trying to do snacks for AM at +2,+4,+6 but his #s started climbing, so I reverted to +2, +3.5, +4.5, +5.5 and he's come down again more consistently.
His PM snacks are at +3,+4,+5, +6 (he drops faster and lower in PM). But I'm not sure if he's bouncing or if I need to increase his insulin again. Some mornings he's abnormally high, sometimes the evenings. Sometimes he's in the 70s, sometimes his cycle is sitting over 100 every check I get. But it's sporadic, which makes me wonder if .1u is too much?
He's not getting into contraband. I've checked the meter to make sure it's working correctly. And sometimes I get a higher reading for PS, and if I feed him and then as he's almost finished check again it's usually much lower. For example, sometimes PS is 130+ and then I check him within 5 minutes AS he's eating before shot and he'll be in the 90s, I know that's within meter variance but it's consistent when it happens, always a lower 2nd reading by a large margin. I usually average the 2 numbers when I do this.
I haven't been able to run a curve, so my partner has been doing random spot checks for me during the day since he's unemployed at the moment. I kind of trust he's doing it right
he just got a +4 check at 137, which wasn't long after his +3.5 snack.
I think I need a reviewed of my spreadsheet and a suggestion of what to try next!
