Sometimes we refer to that as a 'fat' dose. Sorta between the 2 and the 2.25. If you're using calipers you can post a number, like 2.13 or some such thing...

Yes, the regular syringes are hard to figure as far as fine dosing - like between the lines. That's why I couldn't live without calipers - they're great for fine dosing and consistency in measuring doses from one time to the next. Not sure about your syringes, but mine have lines that actually move from one to the next - like the syringes from some bags have the lines closer to the edge/rim, and some are further away...so there's a gap...I can see it when I hold the syringe up to the light so I gave up on the lines a long time ago...really helped me
