Popping in for a weekly update and to say "Hi"! :cat:
Max has been spending a bit more time inside these last few days, and for some reason, he's chosen my 91-year-old dad's bed as a nightly sleeping spot! :p

I was a bit worried as he came in this morning and stayed. Ever since he went OTJ, he's been spending all his time outside in our yard - sleeping under our kitchen window, sleeping on an Adirondack chair, or guarding our front walkway like the Sphinx. When he wasn't feeling good back in April he came in a stayed in, so I was trying not to read too much into him hanging with my girls today. I missed getting an AMBG test, so waited until tonight and was happy to see he was at 70! Still hanging in the greens! :D
Today marks 15 days since he ended his OTJ trial, so it's almost been a month without insulin for Max...paws crossed he can keep it up.:otj:

Yeah !! Congrats to Max! :D I keep questioning everything too- was that more urine than usual? Is he walking strangely? But so far Simon’s bg is looking good! Hoping it will stay that way for Max and Simon! :cat::cat:
Glad to know it’s not just me, lol!! Good vibes going out to Simon too!
How often do you do spot checks? I think I was told/read do them once a week for the first month after going OTJ, then once a month for life, unless he’s acting off.

Since Simon is still on steroids (budesonide) I will probably keep it at once/week for a while. I think your plan sounds good though! Best of luck to you!! :D
