I remember not too long ago when you couldn't have made that post because we never knew what he was going to do.
I gotta tell you how happy it makes me to come here and see Lucian doing so well now.

After a complete meltdown yesterday, I have nowhere to go but up. At least I haven't cried all day, just a few sniffles today. :smile:
Worker's Comp is 2 weeks behind on my checks and rent is due Tuesday......Oh joy. Nope, don't have it and won't hear from my atty until Monday, he's in court all day on Fridays. Gonna be a great weekend.
Lucian's progress is, by far, the only joy I have.

I hear ya sweetie but you aren't alone. Just shelled out two grand we didn't have to get the stepdaughter into rehab for her meth addiction which she promptly walked away from because and I quote "it limited my personal freedom too much"
The state has her kids in foster care for a year now and because she could care less on Oct 6 th they are allowing the foster family to legally adopt them and have given us the choice of retraining grand parent rights as long as we have no contact with her. Great choice your grandchildren or your child.
And on top of it all we have the psycho ex-wife screaming how we never do anything for the daughter because we wont set her up in one of the rental houses rent free and the kicker we don't own the rentals the father in law does and they are full of paying tenets. Now psycho has a restraining order on the daughter because she couldn't control her and we are suppose to how?

AMEN on liking the critters better! I've felt that way my whole life. The only unconditional love you will ever receive, is from an animal. Many years ago, I split up with a boyfriend over my cats. :lol: Cared a lot more for them than him. He made me choose, he lost. :lol: You're lucky to have such a critter loving hubby.
