Good Morning World! Welcome to our Home! Yesterday's 33!

AMPS 139

Sir KT is in fine form this morning. There's a little bit of food in that AMPS - can't tell it can you? I'm down to 1.5u's now - the expected long bounce - again - didn't happen!!! WOO HOO!!! Mr. Liver joined our low dance about mid-cycle yesterday, figured he'd camp out for a while. This morning there's no sign of him anywhere! LIGHT BULB MOMENT LAST NIGHT!!!! When he's high, he's HUNGRY, I never have trouble getting him to eat...BUT when he's running in the 100's or lower, he's NOT hungry therefore I have issues getting food into him!!! If he doesn't have enough food on board, he dives too low at night. I'm not sure how to solve this... Looks like we might dance again today!

Spike got into a fight last night with someone...not sure who it would be as Ziggy and him no longer fight and Leo isn't outside anymore. I THINK I saw a new kitten running around a house equivalent to a couple of blocks away - I sure hope not because they don't take care of any of their animals very well....but guess I'm sort of picky about that....they're one of those that think "it's just a dog...it's just a cat..."....NONE of them are 'just' anything. I pity those people that have so much love around them and never reach out and accept it.

Today we celebrate Libby and Doug being grandparents!!! WOO HOO!!! Welcome baby Sammy!

BIG HUGE HUG,

It may not work for KT, but almost always does for Weezer, play. If she isn't interested in eating, I play String with her for a few minutes and almost without fail, she takes String to her food dish and munches out. Has to do with the whole play/prey thing kitties have, I guess.

hmmm. I'd better file that idea away in case I need it.
I've been pretty lucky so far. Any time I can't my girl to finish eating, I just start sprinking the crumbs from her freeze dried treats
on her food. and if that doesn't work... bonita flakes or parmesan . one at a time. she usually chows down with the new smell added.
And if not, I start over with a different can and give the reject portion to another cat.

Hey, Lyresa -

Nice observations, every bit of information helps. Wish I had an idea for you, but considering the eating problems we've been having with Hershey, clearly I'm no expert.

Awww, thanks for thinking of us. I'm pretty stinking excited to be a Nana!!

Have a peaceful night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)
