Happy weekend to you too Mary.
Surprised to see Jude go so low yesterday - and scratch you too 😮. That sounds so unlike him! Wonder if it was low BG or something else making him feel off.
Hoping it was just a once-off.

Big bounce this morning. No surprise given the lime and stretch of lows last night.

Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Safe surfs, kittens!
Wow, what a night you had Mary! 😳
Jude sure decided to dive. Great job with those carbs.

I know he bounced this morning (how I wish Ivy would only bounce to blues like Jude).
Maybe she could study his spreadsheet and learn from him💕

Hope he has a calm weekend and you can relax after last night 💖🤞

Since Ivy often goes lower, I'm wondering if you think there is any truth to the possibility that cats can be irritable when they go low? Have you ever seen a difference in Ivy's temperament when she's lower? I've never seen Jude irritable enough to scratch me before, so I'm wondering if it was the prolonged time in the 50s (which has never happened before).

It’s hard to say, Mary.

Yes, Ivy goes lower (but I always have to temper that with the fact that it’s a Libre low, which is a bit higher and not true a true 40 or so on a handheld meter).
I think the lowest I’ve clocked her is in the low 60s on a handheld meter.

I do see her getting a bit rambunctious when she is in low BG stretches in the sense that she will burrow under her blankets, sometimes even turns her bed upside down.
So, perhaps there is a correlation.
But, Ivy bites and scratches me all the time if I do something that she perceives as annoying or she doesn’t want to bother her.
I can’t directly correlate it to a lower number.
She’s just a highly irritable cat, that’s her personality and it always has been 😢

With Jude, I would think if you only see it when he is in lower numbers, there could be some correlation.
