9/27 Gordy AMPS 405, +3=320 | PMPS 322

 at that number. That's too bad Dr. Elseys dry seems to raise Gordy's BG. I think that's part of the reason why Rex has been hanging out in the 50's instead of 80's. It started after I added in that.

Did you dose?? I know you were going back and forth about that after that one time. :nailbiting:

I did shot this AM. With that red, I couldn't skip. Just bummed that he was high the morning of his frustosamine test =( [that of course cost me $100.] I only did this becausr the vet required it for his dental. *sigh*

They told me he is fat. the nurse thinks that's why his backend is so greasy. I think its more his age... even when he was much heavier, he still cleaned himself well.

And then I left and forgot to pay :banghead: they called me and I had to give them my card over the phone.

Gordy is mad at me ... but that's not new.

Olive has this greasy waxy patch on her back end and tail. Vet said it was stud tail since she can't clean it. Olive is definitely middle heavy and sometimes has trouble rolling over. I just got the rake combs and it gets right through it but keeps coming back. It just dawned on me that although I think 12 pounds is good for her, it's to much. Tux is 12 pounds but lean. Guess who's going on a diet!!!!!!! Where's my calculator..........

I was thinking stud tail too, especially since he already gets the acne... but the tech doesn't think so. But they can look at him further when he is there for the dental.

Olive has the acne also. Vet told me stud tail but there isn't anything i can do about It. Dentist said skin condition again nothing i can do about it. But when she was on cleocin after the dental it went away. It came back right after. The Persian group says to use groomers goop to break through it. Haven't tried it yet.

I mentioned it again last week when she was there. That's when he used the rake and quite a bit came out. It helps but won't stop it.

He needs to lose a bit though. His ideal is at 18lbs.
Have you tried to restrict his food intake? I got Rex down to 13#. He gets more wet food than the other 2, but he gets very little dry food to graze on (he doesn't understand what 'graze' means:facepalm:). The other 2 get more dry because they just can't/don't/won't eat all what I give them at mealtimes. Sureflap feeders are saviors!!

He already gets restricted with the PetSafe5. The other's have the Sureflap's for their dry so he can't get it.
