We are blessed to belong to a community where bonds run deep;
where caring, compassion, and love brought us here and keeps us together;
a place where we open our hearts to each other in a way that is all too rare in the world.

As so often happens in such a place...we are shocked and deeply saddened today.
Lantus Land shares laughter, frustration, anxiety, rejoicing...and sorrow as well.

Our hearts are with Marjorie, Mike, Gracie, Tobey and Gus in mourning the passing of Teddi.

Binks has all 5 p's in place...

and I am going to spend the time between tests today holding him very closely.

Celi- I know what you mean. Every time I read about Teddi or about Punkin going to get treatment or Boris I just want to go snuggle with Smokers. (He's not too happy about that though :roll: ) Glad to see Binks doing so well- looks like you might be able to go OTJ a second time (I just knocked on some wood so as not to jinx anything!). Hope you and Binks have a great, uneventful day!

PS- do you have a wall yet?

You are so right about this board. How is it that we are so close yet most have never met or even spoken to eachother? When I have something exciting to tell, why is it that I come here rather than my face to face friends or coworkers? This is definitely a magical place and we are all family.

Counting the hours until I get to go home and hug all my fur babies.

Fed him 10% foodies with 2 tiny drops of Karo here.

This go round I'm experimenting with karo & various carb %'s...
skated through without it before...and now am getting the benefit
of all the hard work others have done, using their observations to guide
my mix & match feeding.
Capitalism spirit at it's best :lol:

Materials scheduled for delivery tomorrow...
My buddy Bob the Builder (whose given name is actually Sterling) :lol: ...will start wednesday with a "Plus Three Crew"...
Tenant "I came...I sawed..It fell", his son "I Wanna Be Rebellious, But I'm Too Lazy"...
and myself (provisionally depending on Binks #'s).

Had some trouble getting on here today--Glad so glad to see BInksy doing well!!

We are all mourning Marje & Mike's loss!--WE all feel the same today--

I love these numbers, Lil Manxie Man O' Mine, but makes it a bit unrealistic to think we might get around
and get some tasks crossed off our perpetually growing list.

Ah, well...it is the Catch 22 of FD.

Oh!! Catch 22!!! what a great movie & even better book.

something got in my eye recently, and has become increasingly irritated.
It's reached the point where i'm having a little trouble reading and "fapping" on the laptop...
so if i visit your condo and post something senseless, crazy, or unintelligible
( i mean MORE senseless, crazy, or unintelligible than usual)...please forgive! :lol:

He started off the day in a rollicking good humor, and as things progressed with such drastic changes to
the most important scheduled events (his feeding, play time, and testing) :-D he began going thru "mood stages"
which any parent...fur or otherwise...surely recognizes.
...he began by calmly & reasonably pointing out the oddities on the off chance that i hadn't noticed...
then switched to vociferous protest when I explained the need to adapt.
Active "shunning", pointed stomping from place to place, soulful glances in tandem with quiet piteous moans...
counter-clearing paw swipes...All were given a strenuous workout.

He is currently parked on the couch...looking me over in that measuring, calculating manner that cats do SO well.
We're off his regular shot times by 4 hours...and he ain't buying ANY of my explanations!

now off to visit condos...

If Punky Beanster here thinks that I will continue to tolerate this unconscionable neglect & utter disregard for my wants and needs ...
she is sadly underestimating my willingness & capability to reacquaint her with the ugly and unavoidable consequences of her lack of cheerful
and immediate servitude.

I know all of you feline folk understand me when i point out that most of us
would rather that we did not have to occasionally re-establish the status quo through negative reinforcement...
but it is a necessary evil caused by a human characteristic we have as yet been able to successfully remove from the species.
Sometimes, all evidence to the contrary...the dang things are convinced that THEY are running the show!

thank you for allowing me this small tirade, my friends
sometimes a fellow just has to voice his frustration.
Now i'll step down off my soap box and get on with the business of making her rue this day.

sheesh...my laptop has been having problems trying to login...getting booted from the forum..
losing posts and locking up... pretty much every time i've tried it today.

Just in case it continues, if anyone is awake in the wee hours...
it's gonna be another close watch night for the Greenie Weanie..

I'll be monitoring him...so no worries safety-wise.

just read in Jordan's post computer issues...and a couple of others mentioned the same.
wonder if it has to do with the Board?

fed 1 drop karo & tspn gravy at +1...
and 2 drops karo & 2 tspns gravy at +2
gonna have to buckle down and study the SS of the "master manipulators"

cuz i've never had to work like this to keep him up...

Hope Binkster settled and did not keep you up all night. I also trust you will heed his wishes and be more attentive to his needs. That's his opinion and he is sticking to it.
