Good Morning LL!!
(LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!WACKY WEDNESDAY is over!!! What a relief. They have decided that today is TURN-AROUND TRIPLE THURSDAY! They are doing triples on everything! Kinda cool huh! I wonders if that means triple cheese and triple nip... or maybe just triple pies. I dunno.... anybody willing to order and see what you get? They say that since Wacky Wednesday was so wacky that they wants to give all kitties some fun times today, triple funs! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are complimentary!
I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ours was the best! Me and William and Nicholas had the best of times! We enjoyed another one of Nicholas's extra special BREFFIS!! We swam, we saw some trains, we napped. Well the boys napped, I didn't.  Pool was so fun. The trains were exciting for Nicholas. The weather there wasn't the best. I don't think we made it above 54 here yesterday - just dark and gloomy all day long, with lots of cold winds too. Not much sun - maybe saw a patch of blue around 4, but that's it. A few sprinkles here and there too. Here's what I wrote about yesterday in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas, William and I had a great day, fun times. Our schedule was a little messed up today due to a needed late swim time for Nicholas, but we survived it well. The boys played TRUCKS in the morning, with Nicholas showing William how it is done.  It was so cool to watch Nicholas be a methodical with William as he was, and patient. Incredible! We made the pool ok, Nicholas survived the time adjustment, YAY! we totally survived today.  what a crazy one... It was a late swim time (11AM) for the little guy, I semi-worried about how up for it he would be, too tired or what. He did very well. He knew he was going later in the day, knew things would be different, and he dealt. What a relief that was. sheshhh... only one minor issue: water temp,as it was cooler than he expected. We worked around that. I showed him how to get used to it, and good to go. We had the big pool for the most part, then the lazy river after session break. Big Pool was alot of fun for him today, alot of swimming under water. We had a few times when he was doing this goofy vertical turn in circles thing he does, got tired, and I'll be damned if he didn't get his legs up and float on his back, on his own. That was freaking cool, we have a back floater, no assistance required. It's always been assisted before. Amazing/interesting too that he waited through the session break so he could be in the lazy river. I thought for sure that the cool room temp and the shivers, and the wait, and the fatigue would get him on that, but nope! He so had to swim the river. And have the big bucket dump on him. oh wow on it all... it was a good day in the pool. We spent some time before the pool at the Edmonds RR station, just to kill some time. Luck be with him, a freight train went through. I thought he'd come unglued: TRAINS! He was so stoked to show little bro the trains... What an amazing day.... and I am so tired....

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
There are a few things about Lola that remind me of Mannie... Bug really is more like Mannie in his disposition, but Lola is the one that comes and meets and greets Nicholas and William when they arrive n the mornings. Lola is taken with Nicholas. She seeks him out, plays with him, tries to eat his breffis, plays with trucks and trains  , just puts up with all of Nicholas's wild chases through the house.  It is kinda nice to see.
Lola was a good kitty yesterday, for the most part. She was into high things: walking the banister railing, sitting on the frig door, visiting me in the shower by sitting on top of the shower door. Normalcy for Lola, Normalcy for all the kitties. Bug and Elsa seem to have formed a "it's Fall" pack, and bed sleeping rules the roost for them. Except when it is marathon running time, then no holes barred!
Yesterday Nicholas and I were on the road to the pool after dropping William off at my DMIL, and he tells me "I miss Mannie, grammie!" ;-) Yes little man, me too! "See grammie - that is Mannie's vet over there. Mannie likes his vet." So we talked alot about Mannie while driving to the pool. I love those conversations, his remembrances of Mannie, as seen through a child's eye. He truly misses his friend, loves him even more, and knows that Mannie is OK, Mannie is happy. He winds up this conversation with " It's OK grammie. Mannie is very happy!". Yes Nicholas, that he is. You are one smart little boy.
Have a great day everyone! I will have both boys again today. I hope to be able to go to a river, or maybe a sandy beach here if the tides are low enough. We shall see what pans out. The weather is supposed to be warm and 75, and sunny. Gotta be outdoors for that! I will try and get to condos when I can.
