When I'm off from work tomorrow, I'm going to do my best to get a true "foods +3" test - although actually remember to do that will be a big test of my memory, since I sometimes don't function well when I stray from my routine   ! Maybe Ms P has decided that flatness with just a teensy drop of dropping is more in fashion these days. The bean doesn't really know what that means for a non-traditional OTJ kitty....the numbers are good, but I'm so programmed to crave green!

Nothing else to report here...very happy happy and snuggly kitty. Gelcaps have been a non-issue all week (anti-jinx, anti-jinx, anti-jinx!!!!)...I sure wish I knew why she was putting up such a fight last weekend, just so I could make sure whatever it was that stressed her out never ever ever happens again! Ah, the mysteries of our kitties.

My Dad got disconnected from his chemo-to-go pump yesterday, so we'll see how the crash goes this time. In the past, the crash started the day after disconnect. No doubt there will be some sort of crash, but hopefully not as bad now that he's dairy-free. He's hoping to retry his birthday celebration this weekend (his actual birthday is tomorrow)...this time just with my Mom, DH, and I - and neither of my stress-inducing crazy brothers. Family dynamics...always such a joy!

How is it already time to get ready for work??? Have a great day, LL!

Amy

Not a bad start for Trixie. Your momma bean likes her green though, so what do ya say sweet girl? Great that the gel caps are working this week. Maybe she was just a little off last weekend.

Good chemo vines for your dad. I hope it isn't as bad as in the past now that he is changing some things. Have a great day Amy!!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

WooHOO! A nice low Blue for Miss Trixie today. It is nice to see that Mr P is still on duty, You surf well today trixie. A few greens too, 'K?

yahoo on the gelcaps. that has to be a relief I bet. Good job Trixie!

I hope all goes well for you dad over the next few days. The elimination of dairy sure seems to have been a plus for him. I hope that continues.

Have a great day. I hope all goes well.

Adding in more good wishes and vines for your dad, Amy. How long does he continue with the chemo treatments?

Glad the pilling has gone well this week. I don't know why the kitties don't understand that if they would just cooperate with us, we wouldn't bug them near as much.

Prayers for you DF that the crash isn't bad this time. I'd take normal BG any day. Green is needed when giving insulin but I really don't think so for a healthy cat.

I'm glad the gelcaps are going smoother. I hope the birthday celebration works out. Keeping your dad in my prayers.

Yay for good pilling experiences (anti-jinx)! I thought of you this morning as I was wrestling with Cinco to get his AB and pain meds into him. Not a good experience for either of us. I'm just so scared of hurting him, since I have to grip his head, and he has an iron strong jaw and amazing neck muscles. I was totally drained when we were done, and he was not happy. So I have a lot of empathy for you!

Sending loads of good vines to your DF that the crash, if there is one, is minor this time.
