hi everyone,
I was out on a bike ride all day. Very strenuous. Rusty seems to have had a nice enough day. He and Edward spent some quality time together. Both were happy to see me at +10. Rusty's numbers are not great, but it looks like he did some surfing in blue this afternoon before zooming back up. He had good appetite today and continues to have good breathing (much better than at home; perhaps mountain air doesn't agree with him!!!).
Our bike ride, from Central Park, uptown in Manhattan, over the George Washington Bridge, and on River Road along the NJ Palisades, was all hills--steep ones and one that was over a mile long. It was a workout. My quads were burning when we finally reached the Alpine lookout over the Hudson (saw lots of hawks and ospreys) and had our lunch. I was really tired when I got home.
I hope you all had a fine day. Sending vines to all kitties who need them tonight,
Ella & Rusty
Yo Kitties, It was great visiting our ancestors in the Egyptian galleries at the Metropolitan Museum. They sort of look like us! Great hotdogs on the steps of the museum, and lots of tourists to watch and to entertain with our BMG songs. Tomorrow: a visit to Patience and Prudence at the NY Public Library, fishing for eels along the East River Promenade, and a ride on the Staten Island Ferry. It's my last day in the city. Maybe we'll have time to get out to Coney Island, too, and eat some of Nathan's Finest hotdogs.
