Good Morning, Everyone,

Monday-Paddle day today. We're going to do the Cedar River Flow and the Cedar River, up to the rapids. Should be a beautiful day with lots of color in the trees. Rusty is going to hold the fort and eat from his automat. We are hoping for a day of good numbers, (which only Rusty will know until the late afternoon). Starting out pretty good. At least we came down out of the yellows. I think his shot went in. He enjoyed 2 sittings of breakfast and will get a third when we leave. We all had a good night.

Back later, around +10 or so (it's a fairly long drive; the Cedar River is near Camp Stu).

Everyone have a good day. Please feel better, all kitties who are not feeling up to par. We continue to send healing vines, prayers and good thoughts to Tableau, Teddi, Boris, Rocket, Elsa, and all kitties who need them.

Ella & Rusty

Great start for Rusty today! Leave those yellows behind big guy!

Have a wonderful time on your float. It sounds like the weather is perfect and should be beautiful!

I sure am envious each time I read about your adventures - what a terrific life - so good for you :-D :-D

Rusty does look better today and we'll keep our fingers (and paws) crossed that the numbers only float lower!

Float On~~~~~Both of you!

Hi again,
Great pic, Jessica!

I think Rusty probably spent the day in blue until PMPS. He ate all the food in his automat, contributed to his litterbox, and was ready for PMPS when we got home (about 45 minutes before PMPS: it was a long paddle, about 10.7 miles, but so beautiful. Tomorrow I'll post some pics.

We took Rusty outdoors for about 1/2 hour when we got home and he enjoyed mosering around the garden and the woodshed. He complained mightily about his shot, beginning 2 minutes before I even got the syringe near him, but I think the insulin went in. He is really something. Even with his head in his bowl, he complains! Every shot is an adventure with Rusty! (Stu never even noticed them.)

Off now to visit condos. I hope that all is well in LL this evening,

Ella & Rusty

 Ahhhh Rusty, sounds so much like Leo during shot times, well used to sounds like Leo during shot time. I shoot him now after i test, while he's still sitting between my legs, before feeding him. No more complaining! He used to growl and grumble when i shot him while he was eating and most of the time he would take a few nibbles and run away, then refuse to eat his fuds. Now, he purrs thru it all.

Glad to hear your paddle went well, i went paddling for work last week (had to do some streamflow measuring) and the creek was so low i spent more time outside the canoe pulling/pushing than inside!!! Can't wait to see the pictures from your paddle.

Rusty, time to get back down to business and get back into those nice greens. Leo and i hope you and Rusty have a good evening as well.

Thanks for stopping by, we use the 5 compartment PetSafe. I like it because at 4am it will rotate to an empty compartment and I don't need to get up. Tess's main problem is napping so hard she doesn't notice that a compartment has opened!

Rusty come back down to the blues with me, we'll hang together tonight. I know you missed your beans today. -- Tess

I'm glad Rusty had an enjoyable day and got to go outside!!!

Also glad you got to do your paddling!!! Gotta get in those last really fun days before winter sets in.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers and moral support for Teddi. You all are the best. Tobey misses you big time and I told him as soon as his eye is better, he can come visit.
