Yesterday's Condo
Good Morning to you all, Lantus Land!
Well, Rufus did beautifully yesterday, as far as I'm concerned, but this morning just looks nasty; (we don't let him know that, though. He's a good boy - always). And thank you, to everyone who checked in on him - he loves that, Prima Donna that he is. Sorry I've been so poor at updating the thread - this weekend is just not one of those "let's take a sit-down and grab the netbook" kind of weekends! All over the place.
I've taught my mother the fine details of hometesting, and she was able to get that 125 on Friday night, but last night - no luck. She decided not to wake me up since it was pretty late, I guess, so Rufus went without a PM spot check... which might be why it looks so ugly this morning.
Last night we had John-Finn down here, and I think we made just a bit of progress. I got John-Finn and Rufus face-to-face with John-Finn hissing (for a little while) and Rufus not running away (his usual M.O.). J-F did eventually calm down and simply sit there, and the two of them looked at each other until I got bored, lol. I hear that after I went to bed, they both slept in their claimed chairs and acted civilized, for the most part.
Oh! This is cute - Winnie, our oooold dog (who loved to tease Rufus by chasing him around the house and nipping at his feet) has chosen sides. Once she finally realized J-F was there and that he was being unfriendly toward Rufus, she got up from her bed and went to sit at the floor in front of Rufus' chair. Near Blind and Deaf Guard Dog.
Well, I'm going to go wake up the house and get things going now that family members are starting to call and such. Everyone have a good day! Lots of Shiny-Happy!
