I don`t know why he`s up high like this, but I am not worried this time. He might have eaten a few bites of civvieZacks WhiskasPacket food yesterday in the middle of all the hectickkness. He has had zero interest in commercial food for quite a while, and I haven`t needed to worry about him going for it. But since I was giving the gravy to him yesterday he acquired a palate for it and I didn't realize. Anyway, he had his head in Zack's bowl at one point all of a sudden, and I whisked it away, hoping he hadn`t actually eaten any yet. But looks like maybe he did?

Whatever it is, we'll pick up where we left off sooner or later -- but in the meantime I am going to use the time to go out and do banking and business that has fallen behind.

He still feels 'right' at this high bg, runs around like a kitten. :dizcat Silly cat!

Potencil 50mg bid
pepcid 2.5mgbid
bupe - none since sunday 9/23
miralax - last given monday 9/24 a few granules; good prezzie early today

Not a horrible AMPS and I'm sure he will be back down in no time. Aren't those green numbers totally addicting?

Hi Alexa, Maybe Reuben just wanted some variety from all the greens and blues, or maybe he wanted to give you a break to catch up on other things, or maybe these cats just like to keep us guessing. He is already back in the zome and will probably be dabbling in the low numbers to give you the other type of excitement sometime soon. Both of you have a great evening!

It may have been a stinky pinky start to your day, but the rest of his numbers are quite lovely! too bad we can't erase the ugliest number of the cycle and keep the rest...you know...a throw away number...there's at least one in every cycle!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Hope you guys have a wonderful day/evening!

omigosh, i didn`t even realize i haven`t made a condo for today!!!

sheesh, okay wet noodles later but, right now a question:

he`s surfing the upper 100's, and i have to go out for a few hours.

i have never left him this long i don`t think, and i know this is a reallllllly silly thing to be worrying about
but i just need to talk it through anyway :-)

if i leave his normal food out for him until i get back it`s okay, right?

it`s the second half of the cycle...

opinions? thanks!!
 
Hi Alexa, Reuben does not appear to be heading into scary numbers but he does like to keep us guessing, crazy cat! If you have to go out, can you leave him some normal LC food out like a short period of free feeding? Or feed him some extra LC before you go? Then when you get back consider what he did or didnt eat when you get his next numbers.

yes i`m leaving out his lc food (civviezack has just decided he likes it too, right this moment! so i`ll leave more so there`s enough for both)...

Its great Reuben and Zack eat the same food, no worries about Reuben getting inot forbidden foods while you are out. And who knows, maybe free feeding is in your future too! See you when you get back.

Everyone is fine and Reuben¡s bg is 199, he`s been surfing the upper blues all afternoon :razz: yeay.. if zack will agree to eat the lc food i will be sooooooooo happy. and then if we can free feed on top of it i will be even happier.

i`ll make a proper condo after the test.feed.shoot in a little while.
