To be expected I guess after her chow-fest last night. Canned food banquet still untouched (after Kibby ate some of it) Gave her 2 1/2 slices of turkey this morning which she gobbled down. Debating whether I'm even going to offer her regular dry food. I just feel like I'm making things worse by letting her eat that right now. Ok decision made - I put some down and will take it up after a half hour breffis time, like they suggest for creating meal times. I'll offer Wellness the rest of the day until dinner time.

Muffin is feeling worse this morning than the last 2 mornings - had to fetch her for testing. Funny how my first clue to her feeling bad (ok second, after the fur not being right) is that she won't come for tests. Sometimes I fake a test mid afternoon to see if she'll come when I suspect she's feeling poorly. She never does. Both LB contributions present already this morning (poop for the first time in 3 days?) No other p's so far. She headed under the dresser after breffis, instead of settling here with me.

Did I here there's a beach party today? That'll be so much fun - if I can get away from the bean! - Muffin

Oh Anne, I was hoping for a "feeling good" report this morning. :sad: I hope she starts to feel better soon! I'm absolutely no help with that sort of thing, but I'm sending lots of feel better vines! It would be so much easier if they could just tell us what is wrong!

Muffin....many many healing vines coming your way. Sorry baby girl that you don't feel well. Maybe the beach party will help.

Hang in there, Anne..Ik now it's tough to watch your baby feel so crummy. Gracie sends extra hugs.

She did accompany me to the backyard, rolled around on the warm cement in the sun, ate a few bites of grass, rolled on the cool cement in the shade, patrolled the yard a bit, got some bird watching in, and just seemed to enjoy the fresh air. She followed me inside and came willingly for testing. Batting around a couple water bottles on the desk and bathing now, probably in preparation for nap time. Maybe the pepcid helped. Haven't given bupe yet, fur is looking better than this morning, so will hold off until she seems to need it.

+4 291 Going back up. She still seems to be pain free so far - she went back outside with me again, is purring and wanting lovies (or food). So still no bupe. Have to go run a few errands.

+7.25 316 She is not hiding, she's still begging for food, she came for the test on her own. But the numbers have me a bit concerned, so I'm going to give bupe now and see if that changes anything.

Just checking in with you to see how Muffin is doing tonight? We're getting ready to check Gracie at +11.5....she hasn't really bounced back in numbers since her afternoon surf so I'm nervous but wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you....I'm sure we'll be too busy tonight to check in on everyone.

+10.25 315 Bupe hasn't made a difference. Everything is still the same. Fur is a little less "right" again. At least her appetite is still in tact today.

Hey Marjorie, we were posting at the same time lol. Thanks for thinking of us, I'll stop by your condo next to see how Gracie is.

If Muffin's numbers don't come down several hours after the bupe, I would wonder if Muffin's got something else going on. How many days of ABs do you have left?

pmps 264 Finally down a bit. This is 4 hrs after the bupe, but I also fed her some turkey @ +11.5, figuring at these high numbers, food influence wouldn't really matter much. So not sure which one it is. I guess I should have thought about that.

Sienne - The vet said to stop the ab's on 9/22, figuring the UTI was caught early enough that it should have cleared up and also that it very possibly could be that which was making her feel bad. So she had 9 doses (4 1/2 days) of it. And I am thinking the same thing, either that something else is going on we don't know about, or the pancreatitis is getting worse instead of better, or the UTI was not cleared up. I'm going to call them tomorrow to see about getting her rechecked, at least we can do another cysto to see if that's gone, and go from there.

+2 150 Large drop for such a stagnant am cycle. Fed a slice of turkey, which she wolfed down. Will check in an hour.

Hey Anne....I'm still up and checking in to see how Muffin is doing. I'd love to just do a +4 and hit the sack but will probably stay up for a +5 just to be sure Gracie is not coming down fast again. Hope you have a good night after your last test. Get some sleep little Muffin!

+3 99 Another slice of turkey, and I guess I'm up for another hour. Typically nadir is +2-4 for her, so shouldn't have to be up TOO much longer.

Yup...watching your numbers go down. Glad you know when she peaks so you can sleep. We haven't quite figured it out with Grace but think
maybe +5-+6. She's dropping a little now so I can't decide whether to stay up and do another test...which I probably should but she's had
enough. Hope you get some rest....see you tomorrow :smile:
