Ugh I’m so annoyed with myself. I woke up at 3am (+9) to feed Moonie because I felt like she might break the bounce. But she wouldn’t eat even though I offered her food a couple more times until 4am (+10). Then she rushed into my room at 445am meowing, clearly hungry. So I tested her 30 minutes early and lo and behold she was at 57
I’m frustrated that I woke up at an ungodly hour to feed her so that I could prevent precisely this situation and it didn’t work. I can’t tell what’s going on. Did she have a rapid drop at 445am and that’s why she wasn’t hungry until then? Or is hunger no longer a reliable indicator of when I should test her? I feel like I’m sort of hamstringing myself with my reluctance to test her often, but I hate seeing her ears look so beat up.
Moonie looking surprised… but not as surprised as I was this morning
Happy Caturday everyone and for those of you in the Northeast, hope you’re staying warm and dry today!
