I think I definitely need to go back up on the dose although, Im so close to 0.5U now, not sure it will make a difference. Not sure if I need to wait the 6 cycles. The lowest in the last 4 cycles of 0.4 has been 249. I may raise it tomorrow morning on the 6th cycle, instead of waiting till tomorrow night. I dont like that its still hitting the 400's. But not looking forward to the drops early morning either. Ive been sleeping so well, not having to get up several times to test her. Decisions decisions...something Im terrible at.

Sorry to hear Karamelle’s blood glucose is still so high. She does seem so sensitive to the smallest amounts of insulin. Personally I only make dosing changes in the am cycles because it makes me feel better that I can monitor. That and I feel like evening cycles are always more active anyway.

Hopefully this new dose brings her BG down a bit without the dramatic rollercoasters and scuba dives!

One can only hope! I too, like starting a new dose in the morning, also because the lighting is better for seeing what Im pulling up.

Good luck if you increase tomorrow, I agree I like to increase in the morning in case some scuba diving happens quickly.
I’m not so good at all nighters. It’s so hard on my head and my exhaustion.
