That looks like a bit of a bounce...he's just not used to seeing anything under 300 is he?

I hope he comes down soon...still on the high carb kibble?
 
Hi Sue! It does look like a bit of a bounce. His new trend is to have a higher curve/bounce during the day and then reach nice yellows or even blues at night. He is breaking the bounces sooner though... 1-2 cycles.

He eats MD wet at preshots and then 1/2 MD kibble, 1/2 gastro kibble during the day and overnight. So the HC kibble has been reduced quite a bit. His stools are a bit darker and slightly less spongy (but still very good) so not sure how much further we can push the food mixtures. (Gastro kibble with fiber has quite a bit of psyllium in it)

So less super HC kibble overall.

He is ok with the yellows, I think, but he is not comfortable in the blues yet. I could tell he was feeling insecure and anxious on his streak the other night. He ate quite a bit of kibble that night, so he was protecting himself by eating. His self preservation is strong :p
