What a great day yesterday for Mannie - nice even blue surf in the morning, wonderful green one in the PM cycle. The boy was on a mission - we almost made the 40's, but he seemed content enough to surf the 50's for a while. :mrgreen: I had so hoped not to see a bounce this AM, the 208 was nice, and 348 well.... :YMSIGH: and we are now in bounce mode. Well, I hope it clears quickly. :-D Yesterday was well done Mannie - good job job!!! cat_pet_icon So.....maybe you can put Mr Liver back in his place, we all know he's there, and get back to business in a few? Lubs ya big guy! :razz:

All is well in MannieLand. :-D We seem to have a new version of the kitty choir, aka my back up alarm system. :shock: There were no bellows, only a gentle paws to the face, a few soft meows. :cool: I am not too sure how effective this version is... and there were no backup singers! :o Elsa was in sleep mode on the sofa, Mannie was camped out on the nanner pile, no doubt trying to recover from a night of pokies. He had made a mattress sometime during the night - all lines in a row, with one for a pillow. They must have gotten quite the workout after I decided the poke-a-thon could end... We had a good test feed shoot this morning... well the test wasn't all that great: between a sleepy bean, not enough blood, a wonky meter for one, and a hungry kitty it took 4 tests... :roll: All was forgiven by the time the fuds hit the bowl.... phew!. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status intact, and..... he used the auto feeder for mini meal #1~awesome!! of course he ignored it for mini meal #2. :lol: :lol: Ahhhh..... Normalcy in MannieLand. :razz:

Have a great day everyone! I had hoped to hike today, but alas it is a downpour out there, predicted thunderstorms in the mountains, with heavy winds and rains... looks like I had better stay put! :lol: :lol:

Hey everybody!! I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired this morning. My bean kept at it with that sharp pointy thingie last night. Boy have I ever had enough of that! I need a break - and some sun. Its is so wet here today. Anyone got any sun? maybe we could chillax some today... and we gots to get the KTSS to Teddi, and Gracie and stuff. I hope we can get into the vetty and see Teddi... See you guys later? ~~ Mannie

And completely OT; I seemed to have forgotten to post some photos on DGS and my adventure on Friday. We went to a very nice mountain falls, and visited a nearby small town.. had a grand time - tons of fun with the little guy....

Hi Michelle, I saw on the weather report about the rain in your area. We lately have a heavy cloud that doesn't lift til late morning! Well now, Mannie, what's up with the +2 there - come on back down. Gorgeous pictures and beautiful pic of Nicholas smiling! He looks like he is having the time of his life. Kitty choir must be on break today, yoy know, vocal cords need a rest. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Mannie, oh my, you need a break from all the pokies. Yes, we needs the KTSS for Teddi and Gracie and see her at the Hospital. Well, for sun, Zoe has a pool I think or we could just go to a beach or park. We'll see what others think. See ya soon, Maggie

Hi Michelle - what a great day for Mannie yesterday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that bounce clears quickly!

I sometimes wonders if maybe it isn't their pancrease and liver, but rather, their poor sore ears directing the bouncing train....... giving us a big HEY....HEY YOU....LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A FEW WOULD YA???

That was quite a night: no wonder Mannie chose to bounce this morning (I wish I had an explanation for Rusty's numbers!). Today will be a good day to chillax.

Those are really nice pictures. I love the one of Nicholas. He is such a cutie.

Quite the night... and quite the bounce! Hopefully he recovers from it quickly. The boys are all bouncy these days! As always, love the Nicholas pic (the FB one too!)... it looks like he's about to fist bump someone!

A very nice night last night for Mannie, good job Mannie keep up the good work cat_pet_icon Seems like there were a few pokefests going on last night, and today its kitties with sore ears.

Soft meowing for the backup alarm?!?!? WTH???

I am ready for KTSS, if you want sun and heat its really hot here today, KTSS can come hang out at the river here before we head to Teddi's. Maybe we can catch a giant sturgeon and fry it up!!!

300 @c +5. well, still bounce mode... I am toying with the thought that this is too much insulin - that I need to reduce. We've had some great greens since his dental, down to the 40's and the 50's... followed by these nasty bounces, due in part of the low greens, and the carbs fed: even though I have not gone over a 8/10%. He does much better when I don't have to feed those, can only give 4%, when he dips to the greens in the 80 range and surfs there, on his own. I get consistency then, and not the pattern that is emerging since his dental. I think I will wait this bounce out, see what he does, and if we get another low green dip, whether it is in the 40's or not, I will shave the dose. I really want to see the consistency return to his cycles. OPINION anyone?

Hi Ann and Maggie - Yep, it was coming down fairly hard this AM, we now have sun and blue skies, but only for a while. I hated to cancel today's hike, as Nannie sure has given me a green light, but they predict nasty stuff at my destinations... bummer! == I Know on that +2... I'm almost beginning to think it is too much insulin... -- and thanks on the photos - he was having such fun!

Hi Jessica - it sure was!! a longggg night, but we did OK, and he had a great cycle. I hope so too on the bounce. Love the photo - love the ear poke theory! and yes on the catching up - that is sorely needed!

Hi Ella - yes it was.... omg - a long night. but the numbers were great.. I am wondering though if it is to much insulin.... I miss the consistency that he had before the dental. -- and thanks on the photos. Me too on the Nicholas photo - he has such a goods time when we go on these mini hikes... :-D

Hi Christie - that it was!!! and the bounce - sheshhhhh.... not too sure on this dose - I think it may be too much, causing the low dips and high bounces...a catch 22, and throw the fuds in there - one gets pink. well, guess we will see what he does. -- and thanks on the pics of Nicholas. He is such fun - and yes on the fist thing. He was so wound up!

Mannie, Leo's river sounds great. We'll have to wait anyway 'cause it'll be too hard to sneak in to see Teddi during the day! Gotta make sure all the KTSS supplies ar stocked up too. We've needed a lot of them lately. I'm getting everything packed up and will be waiting. -- Tess

Oh Mannie what the heck are you up to now? You're going to have you poor Mom pulling out her hair. Enough all ready. Get back down form the stratosphere and back into orbit this minute. You hear?! and that doesn't mean going scuba diving either.

I just read about Elsa. I'm so glad that your little girl doesn't have cancer. What an incredible relief for you. O know you have to decide whether or not to go ahead with the surgery but at least you can take time to breath.

I'm so glad that the KTSS will be visiting Teddi tonight. I will never forget how much it meant to Tori and I when they came to visit her when she was in hospital. They'll sneak in just fine. These kitties are very resourceful as we all know.

Hi Barb - WONDERFUL to hear from you! I read him your first line - I hope he listens!! He has left the stratosphere, but I 'm not too sure he has abandoned the scuba gear... :lol: thank you on Elsa - I am relieved too - it is hard to decide what to do.... I had no clue she was having issues, and feel bad about that. Apparently impacted glands like that, when as large as hers was/is, will make them sit funny - often with a leg extended out... who knew? I looked for injury,etc... found nothing,. well - long story, but at least is isn't cancer, and we can go forward from here. and yes - it gives us time to breathe. And many smiles on all the KTSS memories... it is an impt aspect of LL, and I too think those kitties will get i just fine.... they are extremely resourceful! I think ti will do Teddi a world of good, and Gracie and Tobey and Gus, who I understand are very worried about her. cancer, no matter what form, is never fun. thanks so much for the visit. I hope all is well with you.

welllllll not that 313 is super, but it's a whole lot better than 438! mannie, go chomp on your nanners and relax a little bit, buddy!
