Good Morning,

We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning tho Leo was a wee bit fussy and I had to try 2 different cans before he deemed it good enough to eat.

Last week I visited a mom and pop pet store and asked if they would order some Merrick Cowboy Cookout for me. So I picked it up yesterday (had to order a whole case) and my brat cat doesn't like it!! :evil: What a stinker! I guess I'll be donating that case to the SPCA.

Hi Tracy, hang onto the Cowboy Cookout for a while. Maggie does the same thing and then some weeks later, I'll bring it back, and dang if she eats it! They are strange! :lol: Nice AMPS for Leo this morning. Have a nice day.

Nice start to Leo's day. I agree with Ann. Hang on to the Cowboy Cookout because Simon also does the same thing with Wellness Chicken. He loves it one day and hates it the next. Then I'll wait a week or so and it is once again his new best friend. Have a great day.

no cowboy cookout???? Mannie loves it - that and surf and turf... I don't always feed it, as I get better numbers with wellness. one would not know that by looking at today though. :roll: well, maybe Leo will change his opinion tomorrow. :-D

Ok so Leo gave me a 59 for PMPS, i sat and thought about it for 5 minutes or so wondering if i should even shoot him with 0.75. I came to the conclusion that Leo doesn't move much when i shoot low plus i'm home tonight and have lots of good HC fuds, strips and karo. I know that lately he's been doing the double dip but i did not expect this!! I fed him some Wellness Beef & Chicken for supper and will check at +1 and see where he goes with it. The last time i shot low (68) he actually went up.

I fed my stinker some cowboy cookout and he ate a few bites earlier, i should have known better than to buy a whole case of it without trying it out first. He doesn't like any other Merrick stuff.......i am a bonehead! :lol:

I just got back from Petsmart, i really need to stay away from that place..........i went to buy a few cans of Wellness and ended up spending well over $100 on stuff for Leo :roll: :oops: I did find some neato pet stairs that i plan on putting next to my bed.

I haven't tried Merricks. We are stuck on FF. Tarragon is picky picky and doesn't like change. I have been thinking about trying wellness but I will only buy a few cans.

$100 at Petsmart? You are addicted and Mr Leo is a tad spoiled. DH says everything is a cat toy so I don't usually buy that many. Tarragon prefers a crumpled up piece of paper to any other toy anyway.

Leo was hungry and i had been promising him some HC fuds all night, but he didn't give me a number <50 so we compromised and settled on MC fuds. He was pretty happy with that agreement.
 
Beautiful numbers!!! Willie is mad for Grammy's Pot Pie, but it's a 5% or 8%, so he only gets it every now and again when his numbers are lowish. He doesn't hate the BG varieties, but doesn't love them either. He also likes the California Roll as a HC option. He doesn't tolerate beef (pukus central!), so I've never tried Cowboy Cookout.

I agree... don't throw it out just yet. Maybe try mixing it with another variety and see if he'll eat it that way?
 
Lovely surf and Do Lou loves cowboy cookout and like others said he may like it down the road I have done the same thing as you though order a case of something I thought he would like only to feed it to my civies here...
