Good afternoon everyone!! We're sending out prayers and healing vines to all who need them...hoping Punkin is doing well and Rocket, too. Thank you all from the deepest part of our hearts for your love and support and prayers for Teddi Bear.

Gracie....she gave me some slack with a lovely blue cycle yesterday. I have NO IDEA what happened last night. I know I got the shot in her. And this morning.....she hasn't done this since she was on lantus and I am befuddled. We were on the door out to see Teddi but I always check Grace first. With her being 304 at AMPS, I wouldn't normally test her on lev until +4 or +5. Thank God I did. So we did not get to see Teddi yet. I have no clue what is going on with Gracie's numbers right now and hope she will flatten back out and not start that bounce, dive, bounce garbage. She is feeling happy and sassy today; I wonder if this is her way of saying "HEY...you ignored me all day yesterday!!!".

Laura and I were exhausted last night. She fell asleep at 8:30 reading a book. I was talking to Mike on the phone at +3 and actually feel asleep during our conversation. :oops: :oops: So I tested Gracie and when I got the pinkus, I went to bed by 10:30. I overslept this morning....didn't even hear the alarm. Thankfully, Gus is feeling MUCH better and he woke me up crying and licking me in the face. It was exactly Gracie's shot time so I was only 10 minutes late. I still feel like someone hit me with a hammer :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

We are hoping Teddi will come home tonight. Thank you all for keeping her and us in your prayers. Mike is home and we're off to visit Teddi. Have a great day.

Sometimes it just happens, maybe she found a hidden snack somewhere. Good catch this morning.

I'm glad to hear that Teddi is feeling better. When is Mike getting home? I'm so glad that Laura was there with you through all this.

ETA oops I missed your last line. Welcome home Mike. I hope Teddi does get to come home tonight.

Crossing fingers and paws in hopes that your next update will include the news that Teddi is at home!

Miss Gracie! how's about we slow down some... I know that you are the princess and all, but lets give the beans a break, okay?

It does give you the feeling that Gracie was thinking, "OK. I gave you a break yesterday. Now I want some ATTENTION!"

Hi Marje, thank you for the update. Gus is the hero! And so is Laura - what a trooper she has been. Welcome home, Mike. You are the reinforcements. Gracie, no need to scare your beans like that! We are hoping Teddi comes home tonight and continues with her great progress.

Gracie is on a roll here and hope she keeps surfing. Thanks for the encouraging update on Teddi Bear. Looking forward to hearing Teddi will be home soon. Maggie and I are sending vines, prayers and hugs.

Hi Marje, Mike, Gracie, Tobey, Gus, and Teddi (soon to be home, I hope).

This has been some day. We know that Gracie, Tobey and Gus are just waiting to have Teddi home again and they are making sure you are awake and ready to pick her up. Princess Gracie, what are you doing? Yes, down is the correct direction but so fast really? Be nice to your beans!! Teddi is coming home soon- no need to overdo it!

I've been thinking about you guys all day. I'm so glad to hear that Teddi and Guss are both feeling better, and I hope Teddi is home by the time you are reading this.

Oh Gracie. It looks like you have really been giving your MOm a run for her money today. I sure hope you settled down some.

Marje O posted in your other condo about Teddi. Hang in there. I'm so glad that your hubby is home now. That will make a big difference for you.

Good evening: I'm sorry to post so late. It's been a crazy day and we just managed to sit down to get a bite to eat.

I did get to bring Teddi home. She is weak but she is a feisty little girl. We don't have to do anything for her that we weren't already doing; the chemo pill is not an every day thing. She seems thirsty but her creat had dropped to 1.7 and BUN to 41 so she still has come really good functioning kidneys.

So...for me...what an idiot I am about Gracie. I was so exhausted this morning that I didn't remember that I changed her pen today. With her numbers edging up and then those 300s last night and there were bubbles in the pen but also some little floaty bubble things in the syringe, I decided to get a new pen opened today. I have no idea if that caused the dive but ....and she is going up now. I shot through the bounce but I believe I will take her back to f1u tomorrow...mostly because Mike and I need to focus on Teddi for the next few days and getting her stronger and eating on her own. If I can get Gracie back to those nice flat blues, she'll be fine while we get Teddi feeling better.

At least I now have Mike at home and this is a vacation week for him so neither of us have to work for 12 days.

Spending a little time with Laura this evening. She leaves tomorrow. What a trip for her ;-)

glad you figured out what sent gracie diving . . . glad gus is feeling better . . . . and glad teddi is home! how about tobey?

I am so sorry to be so late in posting here. I am so glad that teddi was able to come home. I know you will take good care of her. many healing vines for teddi. I hear the KTSS is all revved up to make another visit.

And Gracie will be just fine. Nice blue for a while will give you the time you need.

So happy Teddi is home and sending her lots of healing vines ((((((hugs))))) from us and hope the new pen and dose helps Gracie to settle back into those blues
 
Marje, just saw the post about Teddi. Sending prayers your way for you and all your family, furry and otherwise. I know firsthand how hard it is when more than one of your babies have health issues at the same time. Keep us posted and hang in there!
