Yesterday's Condo

This is what happens when a kitty drops 170 points in an hour! BOING!!! Aside from the bounce, the kitties are up to their usual stuff this morning. No word yet on my sister's cat and in this case, I'm taking no news as good news and he got through the night.

Hoping for a lovely surf for Miss Gabby, and sending tons of healing vines and positive thoughts for you sister's cat. I wish for him to make a full and speedy recovery.

Hi Sienne. Hope Gabby clears her bounce quickly. Got a chuckle from your comment in yesterday's condo about Gabby leaving her business in the LB for Gizmo to clean up. Our civvies NFC is the one that leaves her business for PF to clean up  .

We have your sister and Shiwa in our Prayers and also hope no news is good news.

Have a great day Sienne.

My sister just got back from visiting Shiwa. They haven't run full labs yet today. However, blood pressure and body temp are back to normal -- both were dangerously low when he was admitted. Hematocrit is coming up after one transfusion; another transfusion may be needed. Kidney values haven't improved although it may be too early to tell. One of the longer term issues with tumor lysis syndrome is that it can have a very negative effect on kidney function. The good news is that he made it through the night. Dr. B felt that he's improved since admission. The big question is whether his lab values will remain stable. He's still a very sick kitty.
