9/25 Eleanor Dose Increase? AMPS 256 +6 274 PMPS 264

I think I should increase Eleanor's dose if she does not come down this cycle. If she were following her old pattern, the subq fluids last night would have dropped her BG significantly, instead, they had no effect. Just a reminder, due to my health I am trying to keep Eleanor in low/mid blue to low yellow. Does anyone have thoughts on her dose?

Eleanor is doing well today after yesterday's marathon vomiting. She even ate a few bites on her own while she got her PM shot. I got morning kisses and purrs! Poop half normal and half liquid, but that is an improvement.
Negative Ketones.
Planning to give sub q fluids again tonight.

I'm completely exhausted from yesterday, just now trying to be up and moving around.
I picked Eleanor up and sat down with her on my lap to test her PS BG. Stuck the test strip into the meter and sat there staring at it waiting to see the BG reading. At some point I realized I had forgotten to poke and test Eleanor! LOL!!

Oh Julie - you must be exhausted. I can't give dosing advice, but SO happy that she seemed to have recovered from what seemed to be pancreatitis last night

I'm glad Eleanor is doing better today. You have not seen much blue on this dose. I think you are okay to increase to 3.75 and it shouldn't take her too low. I hope you get some rest soon. Sending prayers.

I agree with Carla on the dose. Please Eleanor, a little lower but stay safe. Sounds like you both had a pretty good day Julie. Always vines and prayers for you both

So happy to hear she is feeling better and that you got some rest, AND purrs and kisses!! That's the best medicine there is!!

I am glad you are giving supportive fluids tonight as well....
I know Eleanor is higher than you want but she is not in a danger zone.... don't be hard on yourself your doing a great job....

I also agree on the dose increase. A little more may get her more often into blues.

Hope you have a good night's rest tonight. I think it's plenty clear enough that this dose isn't going to get her into low numbers that you could just take a break for yourself and sleep all night.
